QuizMe Memo
QuizMe Memo
As part of our ongoing efforts to ensure that the students sitting CSEC Mathematics in May/June
2025 actively practice mathematics, the Ministry of Education is launching a Mathematics
QuizMe Competition.
Competition Overview
The Mathematics Intervention team, in collaboration with Regional Education Officers and
District Education Officers, will visit schools to supervise the competition. All eligible students
will participate simultaneously, completing an assigned QuizMe selected for the school. The
competition will be held once a week for half an hour from February 10 to April 11, 2025.
Schools are encouraged to utilize their IT lab or allow students to use their personal smartphones
to participate. The Education Officers and Mathematics Monitors will collect the names of winners
across various categories at the end of the competition.
The topic of the quiz for each week is attached to this document, along with a link to the quizzes
under the topic. However, the Mathematics Intervention team will determine the specific quiz on
competition day. This approach encourages students to practice all available quizzes under the
assigned topic throughout the week.

Weak internet Schools should provide advance notice to students so they can arrange
connectivity access to a device and a reliable internet connection. If the school has
separate Wi-Fi for teachers, teachers may use their phone’s hotspot to
provide students with access.
Other Schools can adjust rules and guidelines to allow more students to participate.
For example, students can take the quizzes in batches of 30. Those who
finish may lend their devices (if willing) to others, ensuring everyone gets a
chance to participate.
