Conclusion
I looked at how much time I spend on my phone and other screens each day. It was a lot! But I
can’t just stop using my phone completely, since I also need it for my school work, talking to people, and
staying in touch. Social media has its own negative side , but it’s also good for learning and connecting
with others. So, I’ll plan when should I use my phone and apps, use tools to help me track my time, and
do more things offline to balance things out. Basically, technology is helpful, but I need to use it wisely.
Responsible Use of Media, Information and Technology
Media
1. I access traditional and new media for relevant information about the society. ✓
2. I am critical of the messages that media forms share ✓
3. I manage my time in using media and in performing other tasks. ✓
4. I use the proper media channels to communicate with peers based on our ✓
relationships.
5. I scrutinize the persuasive messages that I receive from media before I believe ✓
them.
6. I represent my true self on social media. ✓
7. I do not create anonymous accounts to spread hate and taint the image of others. ✓
8. I only add/friend people on my social media account whom I know in real life or ✓
whom I am comfortable in communicating with.
9. I think about the consequences of the messages that I share before I post them ✓

and demographic.

Media, Information and Technology
