Door and access division

The division located in DODDABALLAPUR industrial area on the outskirts of

bangalore, deals with the design and manufacture of window regulators and door
latches for various vehicles with customer located across india. The plant is spread
over area 3450 sq.m .in a 6032 sq.m. this unit has a full complement of facilities like
welding facility and manufacturing lines along with testing facilities.

Wring harness division

The division located at bommasandra industrial area on outskirts of bangalore, deals

with the design and manufacture of harness, integrated products, lead wires and insert
molded connceters for expot and it is regarded as 100% export oriented unit the
division has the 4 distinction of begin ranked thirteen in india and is also the only
manufacturing facilities to get ISO,QS and TS cetificates within 3 years of inspection.
And plant is spread over a floor area of 1750sq.m. this unit has a full complement of

Contract manufacturing division

It was established in December 2004; this division primarily deals with the exports of
window regulator and latch sub systems. This division also houses aditya auto’s
engineering design center. It is located at the aditya auto campus in the

PROCEDURE FOR STORES

1. PURPOSE: To establish a procedure for receipt, issue, storage, and preservation

of raw material and component.

PROCEDURE

Receiving procedure (raw materials)

 On receipt of the raw material, security will check the tag quantity with that

specified in the DC/invoice quality and update the details in the incoming

register.

 Stores in-charge receives raw material and verifies the “incoming seal” by the

security. The quality received will be crosschecked and update in material inward

register.

 Store in change verifies that the materials are received from approved supplier as

per the purchase order. If the material is not received from approved

supplier/P.O.,the same is not in warded in the factory premises or approval will

be taken from the purchase director.

 The details of the materials received are entered in the material inward register.

 In case the material is found to be non-conformance, NCR is raised by quality

inspector and the material is identified as “rejected” and informed to supplier

through purchase dept. For taking back the same. Stores in-charge is responsible

for sending back the material.

Receiving procedure for consumables & bought out parts

 On receipt of the consumable, security will check the tag quantity with that

specified in the DC/invoice quantity and update the details in the incoming

register by security.

 The consumables for tool room, machine spares are received by stores in-charge

and recorded in the material inward register. On receipt the material, the quantity

received will be cross checked with that specialized in the DC.

 Stores in-charge verifies that the materials are received based on the PO or cash

purchases/credit purchase.

 The user verifies the material and provides the acceptance of material. If the

material is not OK, it is rejected by user. The rejected material will be returned

back to supplier.

Procedure for storage and preservation

 All raw material will be stored in raw material rack with proper identification

identified on the material.

 the consumables will be stored in the storage racks with proper identification tags

identified on the material.

 Sores in charge will maintain a list of hazardous material. Such materials are

stored properly with identification.

 A list of shelf items is maintained by the stores in charge to monitor shelf life of

the items.

 Once in a month physical verification of stores is carried out to assess the

condition and store of the raw materials, consumables, bought out parts are

verified in stock register with respect to physical stock.

 A stock statement will be generated on monthly basis. Any discrepancy is found

is reviewed by stores in charge and action are decided to eliminate the same.

Procedure for issue/receipt of materials for supplier activity

 Stores in charge in coordination with production in charge plans for sending the

materials to approved suppliers for carrying out for outsourced operations.

 The materials is sent along with delivery challenge and the details of issues are

recorded in the returnable register.

 After the required operation are completed,the material is received back from the

supplier along with DC/invoice and update in returnable resister.

 On receipt material, store in charge check the quality received as against that

mentioned in the DC/invoice. If any discrepancy in the quantity, it is informed to

supplier for resolving.

 Quality inspector will carry out the inspection report. If the material is found to

be non-conformance, the details are entered and the material is handled as per

procedure for NC.

 If the material is accepted,the details are recorded in the supplier issue/receipt

register and the material is released to future operations.

 Any material which is sent outside for third party testing is sent along with

delivery.

LEARNING EXPERIENCE

Organization study was good experience for me to understand the various and how
their function will happen in that department and how work effectiveness in all
department. And organization study will help to improve the communication skill.

It was a great experience during my project at “ADITYA AUTO PRODUCTS AND

ENGENNIERING PRIVATE LIMITED” where it made me to learn many thing
about the functioning of the organization accordance with the present.

The interaction with employees gave me and an experience of the industrial scenario
in the competitive environment outside the reality of the institute. We got an
opportunity to visit every department and in spite of their busy schedules there were
very much interested to explain me different concepts and production are maintenance
procedures and process.and the employees at every corner of the company helped me
in getting the required information for successful completion of this internship.

During my internship , I learned how to communicate and build relationship with the
people I worked in production, store ,research and development department. I got
some knowledge about process of production and while working in store room I have
learned certain things related with the allocation of raw materials to different
production process and raw materials are sent to production department in FIFO
method and also I learned about maintenance of book pf accounts we gain a better
