1. What is a volcano?
A volcano is a mountain that
opens downward to a pool of (The students will listen to the

magma erupts, it becomes lava.
1. Crater:
The crater is the opening at the
top of the volcano where the
magma and ash erupt. It's like a
big bowl-shaped depression.
2. Vent:
The vent is the pipe-like structure
that connects the crater to the
magma chamber below. It's
through this vent that magma and
ash rise to the surface.
3. Magma Chamber:
The magma chamber is a large
underground reservoir that stores
molten rock (magma). It's like a
big tank that feeds the volcano.
4. Lava Flow:
Lava flow refers to the molten
rock that flows out of the volcano
during an eruption. It can be slow-
moving or fast-moving, depending
on the type of eruption.
