Opener (5)  Joyful Learning Activity: Network Puzzle Game

1. Divide the class into small groups.

2. Provide each group with a set of puzzle pieces, each
representing a step in setting up computer and user
management (e.g., "Install Active Directory," "Create
User Accounts," "Assign Permissions").
3. Groups will race to arrange the pieces in the correct order.
4. Discuss the correct sequence with the class after the
activity.

Awareness (3) Rewind the past lesson to connect the new competency
Activity (15) 

Analysis (7)  Ask the students:

1. Why do you think the steps must be done in a
particular order?
2. What could happen if user permissions are not
set properly?
3. How does user management contribute to
network security?
 Discuss real-life scenarios where improper user
management caused security issues.

Abstraction (40) 1. Explain the key concepts:

o What is user management?
o Overview of tools like Active Directory or other
server management software.
o Importance of assigning roles and permissions.

o Assigning roles and permissions.
o Configuring group policies.

Application (30)  Hands-On Activity: Setting Up User Management

1. Students will work in pairs to:

o Configure a small server-client network.
o Create and manage user accounts.
o Assign permissions to different users and groups.
2. Monitor and guide the students during the activity.

Ender (2) Remember this: “Focus on progress, not perfection.”
