provide a justification for your selection.

Ans. DBMS

a database management system is a software tool but the user to manage the database easily it allows
users to access and interact with the underlying data in the database these are John gambling from
simply quitting the dog to defining database schemas there fundamentally affect the database structure.

I. Database

A shared collection of logical related data which is designed to meet the needs of multiple users in an
organization is called database.
Advantages of DBMS:

 A database management system (DBMS) may store and retrieve data in a series of manners.

 A database management system is all reliable management manager for handling numerous
applications required identical data.

 Data integrity and security are granted by DBMS.

 The DBMS implements integrity constraint to provide a high degree of protection against
unauthorized access to information.

Disadvantages of DBMS:

 The expense of DBMS hardware and software is enormously mostly expensive, which impacts
your organization's overall budget.

 A database management system is inadequate for doing complex mathematical calculations.

 Since most database management systems are difficult and complicated employees must always
be instructed on how to operate them.

 Many Individuals using the same application simultaneously time potentially led to data loss.

Q2. Organizations have a vital need for quality information. Discuss how the following database roles
relate to each other.

(a) Data Administrator

(b) Database Administrator

(c) Database Designer

(d) Application Developer

(e) End-Users

Ans.

Database Administrator:

The database administrator (DBA) is the information technician responsible for directing and
performing all activities related to maintaining a successful database environment. A (DBA) makes sure
an organization's database and related applications operate functionally and efficiently.

Importance of a (DBA)

The database is responsible for understanding and managing the overall

database environment. By developing and implementing our strategic blueprint to follow then
developing database within their organization, (DBAs) are instrumental in the ongoing efficiency of
afflictions that replay on database for data storage and access.

can begin to feel data to the database model.

This design involves classifying data and identifying

interrelationship. This theoretical representation of the data is called an ontology. The ontology is the
theory behind the database design.

Application Developer:

An application developer works from a specification produced by system

analysis. Each program contains a statement that requests the DBMS to perform some operations on
the database.

This Includes retrieving data, inserting, updating, and deleting data.

The programs are written in programming languages.

It includes data manipulated page statements that all on the DBMS to perform necessary data handling.

End-Users:

Information technology, the term and users used to distinguish the person for
whom a hardware or software product is designed for the developer's installers and services of the
product.
