Automated Feedback Systems for Skill

Assessment
El Handaoui Ibtissam
February 20, 2025

1 Introduction
Automated feedback systems play a crucial role in skill assessment by providing
timely and accurate evaluations. The integration of artificial intelligence (AI)
has significantly enhanced these systems, making feedback more efficient and
personalized.
This report aims to collect and analyze research papers from top conferences
(ACL, EMNLP, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR) to identify state-of-the-art AI tech-
niques used in automated feedback systems.

2 Methodology
The research process involved:
• Databases used: ACL Anthology, arXiv, Google Scholar, and conference
proceedings.
• Keywords: “Automated Feedback Systems,” “Skill Assessment,” “AI for
Education,” “Delayed Feedback Models,” “Multimodal AI.”
• Selection criteria: Papers from the last five years focusing on AI techniques
for feedback systems.
Three representative articles were analyzed as examples.
