2. Click on Download: Click on the "Download" button to initiate the download process.

3. Select the Version: Choose the latest version of Tally Prime.

4. Choose the Operating System: Select the operating system (Windows or macOS) on which you want to
install Tally Prime.

Installing Tally Prime

1. Run the Installer: Run the downloaded installer file (TallyPrime.exe for Windows or TallyPrime.dmg for
macOS).

2. Follow the Installation Wizard: Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.

1.7 Company Creation

How to Create a Company in Tally Prime?

You can create a company in TallyPrime to keep track of all your business transactions. It enables you to access
and alter your transaction entries through the firm and review financial reports based on the transactions you
manage. To create a company, enter its name, address, and other facts, such as financial year and related
information, on the displayed form.

Once you've set up your firm, you may use the following tools to set your business preferences:

 Payroll

Your transactions can also be accounted for by specifying the tax registration details such as GSTIN or TIN .All
of your company's commercial transactions are safe and secure with Tally’s security features. Your company's
transaction records can be further protected from unauthorised access by enabling extra security settings

Create a Company

1. When you first start up TallyPrime (T: Educational Mode or Continue in Educational Mode), Click
the Create Company option.
2. You may start a new business by pressing the shortcut key combination Alt + K (Company) > Create.
This option applies even if you already have another company open.
3. Include information about the company or Fill out the fields for "Name,""Mailing Name," and
"Address."

5. Accept? Yes or NO >YES>“Company created Successfully” tab opens
