License to operate
BIR Permit
- BIR registration is one of the main requirements for doing business in the Philippines. Any
person who receives an income, whether from business, profession, or compensation, has
the legal obligation to register and pay their taxes in the BIR as failure to do so may result
in a fine or imprisonment.

Fire Safety Inspection Certificate is a pre-requisite prior to the issuance of business permit and
occupancy permit. It signifies that the owner complied with the standard requirements
recommended by the Fire Safety Inspection. FSIC FEES: 15% OF ALL FEES CHARGED BY BPLO IN
GRANTING BUSINESS PERMIT.
- A business permit, also known as a mayor’s permit, is a government license secured from
your local government unit (LGU). It allows you to operate your business legally within the
area of your LGU. It is also your local LGU’s way of ensuring you are paying business taxes
and following health and safety standards.
It is necessary to register your single proprietorship business with the DTI to provide it with
a legal identity and gain the rights to use your business name. Remember that a business
name (BN) registration is not a license to operate a business.

Payment Form is a user interface element designed to collect and submit payment
information from customers during online transactions
The purpose of obtaining the said permit is to confirm that the house or building is in a suitable living
condition considering its compliance to the provisions of the code and to the submitted plans and
specifications. However, a process should be conducted first before having an Occupancy Permit.

Sanitary Permit is a requirement in the issuance of business permit. Health permit in addition to sanitary
permit is a requirement in the issuance of business permit for food establishment.
