For a mechanical system shown in figure, write the differential equation
describing its behaviour. Write the analogous electrical equations based on F-
V and F-I analogy.

For the system represented by the block diagram shown below, evaluate the
closed loop transfer function when the input R is
(a) At section A using Block diagram reduction technique.
(b) At section B using Signal Flow Graph Method.

For an RLC series circuit with, R = 1kΩ, L = 10mH, C = 0.01µF, and input
3(a) voltage as 6V. Determine the natural frequency, and damping ratio of the 5
circuit. Assume zero initial condition.
The block diagram of a unity feedback control system shown in figure.
Determine the characteristic equation of the system, 𝜔𝑛 , 𝜉, 𝜔𝑑 , 𝑡𝑝 , 𝑀𝑝, the
time at which the first undershoot occurs, the time period of oscillations, and
the number of cycles completed before reaching the steady state.
