INTRODUCTION:

Greetings, I'm Vidisha Jha, and I am delighted to engage in discussions about my candidacy for an
MBA. Originating from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, I completed my schooling at Carmel Junior College,
Sonari, excelling in ICSE class 10 with a perfect 100% score in Mathematics, Computer Applications,
and a notable 96% in Hindi.

Advancing to ISC class 12, I secured the 3rd position in the school rankings, specializing in the
computer science department. My English proficiency earned me a Certificate of Merit with a
distinguished 96% score, the highest in the school. Subsequently, I pursued a Bachelor's degree in
Chemical Engineering at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, achieving a commendable 7.43 CGPA.

During my academic journey, I seized a transformative opportunity in my third year – participation in

Tata Steel's national competition, Mind Over Matter. Successful in providing solutions to real-life
industrial challenges, I earned a two-month internship at Tata Steel.

Post-graduation, I embraced a techno-commercial role at Reliance Industries, overseeing sales and

marketing for polymer products in the Delhi-Haryana region. Managing 130+ clients, I fostered
robust relationships, achieving a 25% growth rate through market diversification and strategic
planning. Beyond sales, I honed my skills in data analysis, collecting and scrutinizing sales and market
trend data to create insightful reports for the head office. Recognized as a team player, I held a
pivotal role in the Polyethylene core team, managing critical activities such as low-density
polyethylene sales tracking, daily utilization reports, and customer MoU tracking.

However, a significant learning experience during my tenure involved a mistake I made in expense
reimbursement. Despite my immediate acknowledgment and repayment of all related
reimbursements, strict adherence to company policy led to my departure without an experience or a
relieving letter.

This experience underscored the paramount importance of understanding and abiding by company
policies, reinforcing my commitment to professionalism. Rather than allowing this setback to define
me, I emerged from it as a more conscientious and detail-oriented professional.

Post-Reliance, my interest in data analytics led me to complete a 4-month course by IBM on

Coursera.

A turning point came when Alien Technology Transfer recognized my potential, hiring me as a
Funding Consultant. In this role, I onboard European SMEs with groundbreaking technologies,
guiding them through the EIC Accelerator Program application process, offering funding up to 17M
euros for R&D and scale-up activities.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, taking leisurely walks with music, and embracing the culinary arts.
Currently learning to cook, I find joy in the process, as long as it's not thrice daily! I'm also an
enthusiast for music, movies, and series.
This diverse journey, coupled with my resilience and commitment, positions me as an MBA candidate
ready to contribute valuable insights and skills to your program.
