Nouns: Name of a person, place, thing, or idea (e.g., book, teacher, city).
Adverbs: Modify verbs, adjectives, or other adverbs (e.g., quickly, very, well).
Predicate: The part of the sentence containing the verb and providing information about the
subject.
Types of Sentences:
o Declarative (statement)
o Interrogative (question)
o Imperative (command)
Past Tense: Actions that happened in the past (e.g., She studied yesterday.)
Future Tense: Actions that will happen (e.g., They will travel tomorrow.)
Each tense has simple, continuous, perfect, and perfect continuous forms.
Run-on Sentences: Incorrect: I went to the store I bought milk. | Correct: I went to the store,
