Troubleshooting procedure

HMI communication Error With PLC

1. Check the DP connector on the HMI & PLC is firm, the wire between the
connector is reliable and firm connection

Check the dial switch on the DP connector :


dial switch on PLC connector: ON
dial switch on Local HMI connector: OFF
dial switch on Remote HMI connector: ON

DP connector to PLC: ON

Check the IP address of the HMI panel:


Local HMI:192.168.0.8
Remote HMI:192.168.0.9

*Follow the steps below to set the IP address:


a. Start the control unit and wait a moment for the “Start Center” to appear as
bellow;

b. Start the Control Pane by press the “Control Panel” or “Settings” button;
c. Start the “Transfer settings” by press the “Transfer” button;
d. Then follow the steps below:
