PRE-LESSON (10 minutes)
Activity A
1. Self Introduction:
o Teacher introduces herself and welcomes students to the class.
o Encourage students to share their feelings and thoughts about being in TGB.
3. Headings Matching:
o Students read through the headings a-g and ensure they understand each one.
o Students match the headings to the corresponding sections of the text.
o Check the answers with the class and ask students to provide justification for their choices.
Activity C (Student Book page 105)
1. Comprehension Questions:
o Students read through the questions 1-7 and ensure they understand each question.
o Students answer the questions based on the text.
o Check the answers with the class and ask students to provide justification for their answers.
2. Class Sharing:
o Collect answers from the students and share as a class.
o Encourage students to listen to each other's by engaging in conversation and asking questions.

1. Activity:
o Students watch Earth Song by Micheal Jackson.
o Students are to asked to imagine if such situation happens to them and to react to the video.
o They are asked to list down activities than mankind do that bring destruction to the Earth.

1. Discussion:
o Students are shown photos in which they are asked to describe each photo correctly.
2. Practice
o This Practice was taken from Vocabulary 7b (page 106)
o Students are to match each photo to their definitions correctly.
o Students then have to discuss the cause and effect for each phenomenon.

2. First Listening:
o Play the CD once, asking students to listen carefully and try to answer the questions.
o Students jot down their initial answers.
3. Second Listening:
o Play the CD again, allowing students to verify or change their answers based on the second listening.
o Students finalize their answers.

o Go through each question and discuss the answers as a class.
o Provide explanations for the correct answers and address any misunderstandings.
POST LESSON (10 minutes)
Exit Card Activity:
1. Reflection:
o Hand out exit cards or small slips of paper to each student.
o Ask students to complete the following prompts:
"What went well in your learning?"
"Your learning would have been even better if..."
o Collect and review the exit cards to gain insights into students' understanding and areas that may need
further clarification.
