Abstract

The goal of the Clinical Laboratory Management Application is to improve the accuracy and efficiency
of laboratory work in healthcare environments. Every clinical laboratory needs to maintain test records,
and generating reports in the correct format can be quite complex. Additionally, managing the financial
activities associated with patient tests poses challenges for lab technicians. This application addresses
these issues, offering a user-friendly solution that simplifies record-keeping and report generation. This
application will aim at creating advancement in manual keeping of clinical data records. This
application streamlines processes such as sample tracking, result reporting, inventory management, and
compliance with regulatory standards. Clinical Laboratory Management's features, which include user-
friendly interfaces, automated workflows, and strong security measures, not only support quality
improvement initiatives but also increase operational efficiency, which ultimately improves patient
outcomes and makes the healthcare delivery system more efficient.

Chapter 1

Introduction

1.1 General Introduction :

The project title “Shree Clinical Laboratory Management” is an application developed for Shree
Laboratory, Tembhurni to manage all the tests of patients. This app is mainly developed for lab
technicians.
This application contains many features related to managing tests of patients. By using this
application lab technicians reduce the complexity of tests management. This application also generates
the report and this generated report can be easily shared via Whatsapp, Email and various messaging
applications. This application stores date wise history of tests. The “Clinical Laboratory Management
app” also generates the bill of patients. It also gives information about total tests of patients. In this app
one more feature for lab technicians is he can update the test price according to his perspective. This
software system will aim at creating advancement in manual keeping of clinical data records.
Managing the reports and report history manually is so complex. This problem is overcome in
this application by maintaining the all reports records in real time database. Also, this application
allows lab technicians to update test prices easily based on market conditions or laboratory policies,
ensuring flexibility in pricing management.
This application is developed for the purpose of controlling the laboratory workflow and
simplifying the operations for increasing patient care. By the development of an attractive GUI, this
application makes the communication easier with the Lab technician. This application will help in
improving the patient’s convenience towards the clinical lab which will be useful according to the
business manner.

Literature Review
Literature review refers on interview, book, internet to grab some information about this project
to give clear outlook for developing the project. In the existing system there is no automation in
the work, there is no system to generate test report automatically, lot of manual work is there
and there are lot of complexity. So, this literature review has covered the process of manual
system that cause the current system is difficult to use. Existing process is very time consuming
and lot of paper work requires. Usually they used the predictable and less efficient method to
manage the laboratory and to store their data. Existing system has many errors that can create
serious issue during test report generate.
In every Clinical Laboratory keeping record is a very critical and vital task. For the Shree Clinical
Laboratory, it is very important to manage the tests and generate its report for further
processes. Besides tests report generation are also becoming more critical. Hence manual
process is not a best choice but computerized method can solve all this issue. The
computerized system would be better than manual system for test report generation and
management of tests report. Hence, by using this system, the Clinical Laboratories will get
number of advantages than the manual system. One of the main advantages of using the
computerized system is that it is not only easy, but it also saves the time and paperwork of
tests. As the System include App the Lab Technician can easily access the necessary details of
each and every test reports anywhere hence this becomes advantage of this System. Now any
tests report activity can be managed with ease in less time and less manual work. Thus System
is very useful for any Clinical Lab Technician those have to manage various test reports.

2.2 Proposed System

2.2 Shree Clinical Laboratory Management
Our system Shree Clinical Laboratory Management is very user friendly and dynamic . In this
Clinical Lab technician can easily use the Application with all facilities. So as per previous
system all work can be done with ease as well as some new features are also added to
improvise the system. Any lab technician can generate report in proper format and also
maintain records of reports. General Police user will easily know their duty details and
instructions for the point. By just entering start and end date control room will have the report
of entire Bandobast. The absentee can be printed even on daily basis. By just providing aadhar
card number, I-card are generated need not to fill manually. Any Police person will understand
this system in few minutes.
This sytem is being developed for CO’s to Allocate duties to all police and further officer can
take attendance of their sub-ordinates. Later the control room can print the entire report in just
one click. For this all police staff has to register with detailed information so that duties can be
allocated to them. Once all police staff are registered to system, CO’s can easily allocate them
through Website to any required point. Then each point’s Head Officer can take attendance of
his/her subordinates using the Android App. Every user can see his/her duty details in the App.
CO’s can change allocation in few seconds using App. The app help to generate I-Cards for all in
few seconds. The App provide different features to each user as per the Role of user hence
lower level user can’t administrate the Bandobast and hence security of critical Data is
maintained. As the System include both Website and App the Control Room can easily access
the necessary details of each and every police anywhere hence this becomes advantage of this
System. Now any Bandobast can be managed with ease in less time and less manual work.
Now instead of caring about allocation, attendance and report, the Control room can control the
bandobast properly. The works like bandobast creation ,allocation and report generation are
easy to handle with the desktop so we have developed a Website ” Pandharpurpolice.in”.
Other works like checking duty details ,taking attendance(even in offline),I-card
generation ,allocation changing and checking , instruction showing can be done easily with a
mobile device
That’s why the “BAAS” App also developed.
