Windows XP - line of proprietary operating systems developed by Microsoft First released
on 25 October 2001, and over 400 million copies are in use, according to a January 2006
estimate by an IDC analyst. Windows XP is known for its improved stability and efficiency
over the earlier versions of Microsoft Windows. It presents a significantly redesigned
graphical user interface, a change Microsoft promoted as more user-friendly than the earlier
versions of Windows. Windows XP helps you access and manage your files on the PC using a
GUI. All Programs and files stored on the PC are represented as pictures that are called
icons.
Minimum Recommended

Processor 233 MHz 300 MHz or higher

Memory 64 MB RAM 128 MB RAM or higher
