1 Foreword
The identification of spare parts and assemblies represents a challenge for technically
demanding products and is often an enormous hurdle for spare part buyers and sellers. In
some cases the search time can be very high. In order to minimize search efforts, modern
manufacturers of commercial vehicles use electronic catalogue systems. These catalogue
systems combine design and production databases into one information system.
2 system requirements
2.1 Liaison
Internet access is required in order to use the electronic spare parts catalogue. The bandwidth
of the connection is one of the decisive factors in how quickly the application can be used.
2.2 Firewall
Companies today protect you with a firewall against viruses, Trojans and so-called spam mails.
After logging in (see Login), the page with the chassis number must appear - if your firewall
allows access to our website (http://www.kaessbohrer.at:8080/kaessbohrer_shop). If you are
already denied access at this point, please talk to your IT department. A share of the internet
address or a setting in your firewall is required in most cases (ports 80 and 8080 must be
shared). If you still cannot access our website, please contact our staff.
2.3 Java
We recommend the use of the current JAVA script. If you are working with an old JAVA script,
the displays in the catalog may fail. Current scripts can be found at
www.java.com/de/download/
To achieve maximum use of your screen, press the F11 key after starting the spare parts
catalogue. To return to the original view, press the F11 key again.
The user name and password for the spare parts catalogue is assigned exclusively by
Kässbohrer Eugendorf. To gain access, please contact the address below. We will send you
a code card with the user name and password for your catalogue access. With this code card
you can log into the catalogue from any Internet access point via our Internet address.
Mail: [email protected]
Phone: 0043 6225 28100 212
Watch your step! Usernames and passwords must be kept carefully to prevent misuse.
(see usage agreement in appendix)
3.2 login
Please find the user name and password on your code card. You can select the menu language
in the lower part of the login screen. After the successful login, the shopping cart, orders, order
history, the input mask for the VAK number and logout are available to you. Please leave the
application only via the Logout button. With the lower drop down tab you can change the
language of the user interface.
4 Chassis numbers
Please take the chassis number from your vehicle documents or read it directly from the
vehicle.
The first three digits of the chassis number indicate whether it is the body of the motor vehicle
or the trailer. This distinction must be made within a product group. As an aid for the correct
input of the chassis number, the reference to the chassis number combination is given for each
product in the VAK input mask.
Examples:
674000E1712076656EBDE1612121
644000D171176575753GBDE1A12196
645000D1511797657FBCE1712107
If you enter the chassis number incorrectly, nothing will be displayed in the catalog.
5 Individual settings
In the new shop you have the opportunity to make a few individual settings, which we would like to bring
closer to you here.
3. Under the tab "User data" you can now change the following data:
- password
- email address
If you change the language settings here, they will be saved automatically and you don't have to
change them manually every time you log in.
Further down you can still set where the parts list is to be displayed in the shop.
6 Change language
The language currently set for the user interface and the catalog data is displayed in the lower
left corner. To change them, simply click on the flag and select the desired language.
The language of the user interface changes all menus to your desired language. You can
choose between German, English, Spanish, Italian, Spanish, Croatian, Polish, Serbian and
Russian. In addition, you can change the part designations, i.e. the catalog data, to your
required national language. Info -> The language of the documentation is always set to
German, because the documents are uploaded from other languages as well.
The catalogue automatically calls up the chassis number entered. You can now continue to
search for parts by double-clicking the Assemblies menu.
All spare parts that have been placed in the shopping cart are listed here. You immediately get
an overview of open and current orders. If necessary, parts can still be searched for and
ordered by clicking on "Catalogue", or added manually directly to the shopping basket.
With this "button" you start the print function. You can
choose from several types of printouts.
Print the drawing, print incl. parts list or only
The menu navigation shows the main assembly - the assembly can be opened by double-
clicking on it or by branching down in the hierarchy. If, for example, parts of the spare wheel
holder are to be searched for, select the menu "Install spare wheel holder open basket" as in
the example.
All device diagrams are designed as 2D circuit diagrams. The end devices of the 2D circuit diagrams
can in turn be dismantled into their individual parts as isometric representations.
Electronic components can be searched through the item Overview Electrical
Hydraulic components can be searched for using the item "Hydraulic overview". Here,
too, all device diagrams are shown as 2D circuit diagrams.
Information on the omission or replacement of an article is marked with the symbol and
can be retrieved by clicking on this. This symbol also indicates set items. In the
documentation under replacement numbers you will also find a list containing various
replaced articles.
If you create a new shopping cart, you can change the order type or the shipping type.
determine.
In the Customer order number field you can enter your individual order number (e.g. from
your merchandise management system). This number will be printed on our invoice receipts.
The shopping basket or catalogue order number (ID) is also printed on our invoices and
delivery notes. Thus, the reference to the order can always be established in the further
course of the processing.
If you click on the order history menu item, all (completed, archived and drafts) orders will
be displayed:
In principle, each order can be copied and used as a template for a new order (Display...
-> Copy -> Make changes -> Trigger purchase order.)
An order can also be saved as an order draft and thus be used again and again as a
template. Once you have created a shopping cart, you can save it as a design by
clicking on the corresponding button:
