Pollution is one of the major problems here in our barangay. The increasing amount of
waste, poor waste management, and environmental degradation are taking a toll on our
community. This not only affects the health and well-being of our residents but also
harms the natural beauty of our surroundings. Tackling this issue is essential for
creating a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environment for everyone.
In our community outreach program, we would focus on how to solve pollution. By
raising awareness and encouraging active participation, we aim to promote better waste
management practices, reduce harmful emissions, and protect our local environment.
Together, we can make a significant impact in addressing pollution and creating a
cleaner, healthier community for all.

The main objectives of this Community Outreach Proposal is addressing the Pollution
that a lot of us are being affected by this kind of environmental issue. As a student it's
important to set a goals that can contributes a big help and we can use to easily
overcome this challenges that we're facing in this trying time.

Goals:

Raising Awareness

 Educate your communities about the changes and impacts of the pollution on the
environment that may possible to happen. So in this way it allows for them to
think properly for how they can set their goals to discover the powerful ways to
use for prevention.

Promoting good practices

 o Encourage everyone on the community to actively participating on the
activities such as cleaning the surroundings and tree plantings to address
the areas that are affected by the pollution. And adapt the Waste
Hierarchy to protect the natural resources to improve the overall
environmental impact.

Seek a support and help to others

o In this way we can easily achieve our goals to have a better environment
that fit to everyone who live in because we're not alone in this journey
because there's have a government or groups that can help us to hear our
voices and advocacy and take this opportunity to take an action to prevent
this kind of issue to didn't slowly getting worst.

Promotes Eco-friendly
o It is important because it allows us to reduce pollution, helps
conserve natural resources and biodiversity and especially it
ensures you to have a healthy planet on the present and to the next
generations because there's has a big chance possible if we
continue doing a good actions and behaviors.

Beneficiaries:
When we successfully addressed and overcome the environmental issue through our
effective goals, the beneficiaries may achieve a reward of experiencing positive
impacts.

Citizens on the community

 When all of the positive things or actions pays off the first thing that
can receive a reward or benefits is someone who work for it. It
allows us to avoid getting in danger and risk because due to
pollution will decrease.
Economic Growth

 It opens an opportunities to increase the amount of goods and

services for the local communities and for the better future.

Future Generations

 The individuals who live on the present is not the only one who can
achieve the beneficial from it but also the future generations
because our positive actions is the best way to lead them into a
healthier environment and better future for them to come with. It
helps them also to be aware to their surroundings and how it is
important to take an action before it's getting too late.

Youth
 As a youth or student who are actively participating to this kind of
journey there's a lot of things can contributes to their environment
to come up with the place where everyone are living at peace. Not
all of the heroes are wearing a cape, there's a lot of people who are
joyfully help and serving others without expecting in return and also
doing the things that ensures to have a great outcomes not only for
them but for others.
Activity:
Community Cleaning Event
The community cleaning event is an initiative aimed at promoting environmental
awareness and community involvement in maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
As part of our program to address pollution, we have chosen to organize a community
cleaning activity to bring together students, community members, and local
organizations to work towards a common goal of keeping our community clean and
beautiful.

Goals:
The overall goal of the community cleaning event is to promote environmental
awareness and community involvement in maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
Specifically, the goals of the event are:

 To clean up the designated area and remove trash and debris

 To promote environmental awareness and education among
community members
 To foster community involvement and participation in environmental
initiatives
 To build partnerships with local organizations and businesses to
support environmental efforts

Objectives:
The objectives of the community cleaning event are:

 To collect and dispose of at least 100 kilograms of trash and debris

  To engage at least 50 community members and students in the
cleaning activity
 To donates money with the earnings from recyclable materials we
have gathered
 To establish partnerships with at least 5 local organizations and
businesses to support future environmental initiatives

As students, we have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in our community by

addressing pollution and helping to maintain a clean environment. One of the first steps
we can take is to reach out to local governments and environmental organizations for
support in implementing effective solutions. By working closely with barangay officials,
we can organize community-driven cleanup projects, involving residents and members
of the 4Ps program. These efforts will not only help reduce pollution but also raise
awareness about the importance of protecting our environment for future generations.

In addition to collaboration, we will need key resources to ensure the success of these
initiatives. Donations can help fund the necessary materials, such as cleaning supplies,
trash bins, and waste disposal services. Volunteers will play a vital role in carrying out
the cleanup activities, so recruiting local residents and students to participate is
essential. Building partnerships with local organizations, such as environmental groups
or businesses, can also provide much-needed support, including access to tools and
equipment for cleaning.

By emphasizing the importance of community involvement and working together, we

can create a cleaner, healthier environment in our barangay. Through these combined
efforts, we will not only improve the area where we live but inspire others to take action
toward a pollution-free future.
Timeline and Implementation Plan:

February 16-18 communicate the plan with the group, and gather necessary information
about the issue of the community that is needed to be resolved. Create the program and
identify goals and objectives of the group.

-in this case, pollution. Discussion of the chosen topic and checking for places to be
cleaned in the community. Example are canals and streets.

February 19-20 Communicate with the barangay and other local government unit
officials, as well as fellow students, parents, sangguniang kabataan and teachers about
the said program to gain the attention of the people and hopefully gather their interests
about the project.

Create online posters about the program that encourages the population in the
community to participate in the activity. Posts online short video campaigns highlighting
the community’s needs when it comes to environmental pollution.

Since the SK, barangay official, and 4ps has a monthly clean and green, the group will
try to communicate to merge the said program with their monthly clean and green drive
to create partnerships with one goal.

February 20-22 Check for the availability of equipment to be used such as walis tingting,
dust pan, and sako.
Check the people who would like to volunteer and make one last checking of all the
things before the day of the program.

Communicate with potential sponsors, such as the barangay captain. For possible
rewards for the activity.

The person with the most garbage to be collected from the start of cleaning to the end
will have reward, either school supply pack for them, or small grocery items.

February 23- execution of the program.

The disposal of the garbage will be from the help of the barangay’s weekly garbage
collection group.
