lessons. We suggest using this form to take notes during your chosen lesson observation so

The usage of smart board helped students to understand clearly.

There weren’t any classroom rules but the teacher could build rapport and managed the
classroom effectively

When field dependent students had difficulties in doing the tasks correctly teacher again
explained them and next time put them with active students to help each other.

o How long was the teacher’s wait time between questions and answers?

After giving questions teacher waited for 3-5min then she received students’ answers.

o What type of feedback did the teacher provide concerning students’ questions and
answers? Did the teacher call on all students?
Teacher gave oral feedbacks to students work during the lesson.

o What worked well during this lesson? Why?


I consider the lesson was well organized, activities were flexible and teacher could
achieve classroom objectives.

o What might the teacher have done differently or what didn’t go well in the lesson?
Why?
I didn’t notice any drawbacks in the lesson.

o Is there anything you observed during the lesson recognize from the Foundations
course?
Teacher used monitoring and controlled highly, moderately and gradually lead them
free practice. Teacher also built rapport with students so it increased productivity of the
lesson.

o What was the most meaningful learning experience for you from this lesson? I liked
interaction patterns of the lesson. Teacher designed variety activities in terms of raising
students’ participation and activeness to the lesson.

o What specifically did you see that you would like to incorporate into your own
teaching? Has this observation shown you anything that you particularly need to
watch out for?
I would like to incorporate organizing role-plays into my own teaching because It involved all
the students. Ss had a fun, relaxed and helped each other while organizing their performance .

lesson that you want to explore or research?

I don’t have any additional questions.

I learnt classroom management because the teacher built a good relationship with her
students as a result they felt at ease and comfortable while interacting with their
peers or their teacher.
