1. Brief history of the triangle (5 points)
a. Must include info of other people/cultures than Pascal.
b. Go find the interesting stuff! He stole it!

2. Explanation of two hidden patterns in the triangle (10 points)


a. Talking about creating the triangle doesn’t count.
b. There are many of these on the internet.

3. Diagram of a visual representation of a pattern in the triangle (5 points)


a. Have to use color! These look so awesome when done correctly!
b. Can be the same or different pattern than you described on
requirement #2, but you must show us visually what it looks like when
identified in the triangle.

4. Explanation of 1 application of the triangle outside of how we used it in


class (5 points)
a. This could be probability, scientific fields, population information,
jobs/careers, etc.

5. Create a new Pascal’s triangle with a different rule! (5 points)


a. This could be using multiplication, division, fractions, subtraction,
exponents
b. Provide an explanation of the rule, as well as an example of your
triangle.
