INT RO DUCTION

The CITY TOUR GUIDE site can provide information about various cities their
important and visiting places with complete description and some images to recognize them
easily. Here users can find how to reach that particular places and how long so far distance is
there etc. This system can provide users to directly book transportation and accommodation
through admin. Travel agents also have one of the major roles here; they can provide
accommodation details into this system also. Admin can manage the users and travel agents also.

Travel Search and Booking software is developed for travelers, tour operators and travel
agents to automate their travel management system. It enables viewers, travels and booking
agents to log on to our website and enter real-time reservations.

The development of the new system contains the following activities, which try to automate
the entire process keeping in view of the database integration approach.

 User friendliness is provided in the application with various controls.

 The system makes the overall project management much easier and flexible.
 Readily upload the latest updates, allows user to download the alerts by clicking the
URL.
 There is no risk of data mismanagement at any level while the project development is un-
der process.
 It provides high level of security with different level of authentication.
 Users directly book their requirements through this site.

The purpose of developing web application “City Tour Guide” is to provide information to
tourists who want to visit various locations and to know distance between specified places etc.,
City Bus management system project software is designed to manage different types of works
included in city buses and computerize total process of data management. City buses running on
different routes are updated to database using this module which his shown in main form menu
option. When new bus is allotted for a new route we can add routes and even delete old routes
which are updated to database. There are many departments where large number of employees is
required for handling different tasks. Most of the work is done manually which is time taking
process , as software applications are playing important role in manage these tasks city bus man-
agement system software application is designed .

In the cities, especially in India buses are major form of transportation. So by this app we can
get the information required for reaching to the desired destination. We select the source and
destination and after pressing the submit button we get the bus number of the bus we
have to travel . Thus this application has its importance in the city travelling.

Features

 This is a web based application used to find out the bus number from one place to another
place.
 User need to give the details of source and destination.
 Accordingly it will display the details of the bus number which is going in that route.
 It is a time saving application to user.
 User can easily get the information of the bus number of a particular route.
 In this way a user will be free of confusion about the buses.
 It will also be very helpful for those people who are new to the city.
Improving recommendation on E-Commerce Products with Association &
Ranking

ABSTRACT
Web surfing has become a popular activity for many consumers who not only make
purchases online, but also seek relevant information on products and services before they commit
to buy. The system propose a web recommender that models user habits and behaviors by
constructing a knowledge base using temporal web access patterns as input. ARM is applied to
represent real-life temporal concepts and requested resources of periodic pattern-based web
access activities. The association of representation is used to construct a knowledge base of the
user’s shopping access habits and behaviors, which is used to provide timely personalized
recommendations to the user. The proposed approach is applicable to delivery of
recommendations on consumers’ devices because compute-intensive processing is performed
offline and in advance. With the increasing availability and popularity of web enabled consumer
devices, it is believed that the world of tomorrow will be increasingly web-oriented.

The user also has the option to browse the whole list of products in the catalog. In all
cases the user will end up with a table that contains a list of products with price, manufacturer,
quantity in stock and a link that allows the customer to add to the shopping cart. If the customer
clicks on the link to add a product to cart, the customer's profile information similarity, the rec-
ommendations of product made to the customer's cart based on the profile association to the
products availability, income to cost relationship and the product sales rank support count. Also
the system includes an Administrator view to post new products and edit the features of old prod-
ucts and to perform multiple digital cataloguing based activity which allows the user to perform
searches of a product in the catalog in three different ways: by the name of the product; by the
name of the manufacturer; or by category of the product. If the user chooses to search a product
by name, a form is displayed in which the user can input the product name. In the other two op -
tions, a list of categories or manufacturers is shown in the form of hyperlinks.
The proposed system work on interesting directions for additional important item ranking
criteria should be explored for potential diversity improvements. This may include consumer-
oriented or manufacturer-oriented ranking mechanisms, depending on the given application
domain, as well as external factors, such as social profiles. Also, as mentioned earlier, association
rule-based approaches could be used to achieve further improvements in recommendation
diversity, although these improvements may come with a (possibly significant) increase in
computational complexity. Moreover, because of the inherent(necessary) tradeoff between the
accuracy and diversity metrics, an interesting research direction would be to develop a new
measure that captures both of these aspects in a single metric. In addition, user studies exploring
users’ perceptions and acceptance of the diversity metrics as well as the users’ satisfaction with
diversity-sensitive recommender systems would be an important step proposed. Furthermore,
exploration of recommendation diversity when recommending item bundles or sequences instead
of individual items. In proposed work, the system wanted to make the next logical step by
allowing any item to be treated as a class label—its value is to be predicted based on the
presence or absence of other items. Put another way, knowing a subset of the shopping carts
contents, we want to “guess” (predict/recommend) the rest.

CITIZEN VOICE SYSTEM

Introduction

This Application will help the common people under the jurisdiction of a municipal
corporation to register their grievances about day to day problems in their ward through a web
application. It will provide a common man to deliver his complaints and problems to municipal
authority as well as let the municipal authorities to address the problem in a short period of time.
This application provides an interface to register one’s complained and follow it up.

In India we don’t have any direct communication between the government and public in an
efficient way for solving the problems i.e. for getting a problem solved in our place we have to
bribe the officials and get them solved in 2 months which can be solved actually in 1 month of
time. In order to overcome this problem previously National Informatics Centre has launched a
site named citizen voice through which public can post the petitions or complaints in the site and
get them solved in a specified time and can also know the status of the complaint or petition he
has lodged at any time .Initially phones were merely used for calling or texting.

The main purpose of this project is to help the public in knowing their place details and
getting their problems solved in online without going to the officer regularly until the problem is
solved. By this system the public can save his time.
RIGHT-PROTECTED DATA PUBLISHING WITH PROVABLE

DISTANCE-BASED MINING

ABSTRACT

Data exchange and data publishing are becoming an inherent part of business and

academic practices. Data owners, nonetheless, also need to maintain the principal rights over the

datasets that they share, which in many cases have been obtained after expensive and laborious

procedures. This thesis work presents a right-protection mechanism that can provide detectable

evidence for the legal ownership of a shared dataset, without compromising its usability under a

wide range of machine learning, mining, and search operations. It is accomplished by

guaranteeing that order relations between object distances remain unaltered.

Protection of one’s intellectual property is a topic with important technological and legal

facets. This thesis provides mechanisms for establishing the ownership of a dataset consisting of

multiple objects. The algorithms also preserve important properties of the dataset, which are

important for mining operations, and so guarantee both right protection and utility preservation.

The thesis considers a right-protection scheme based on watermarking. Watermarking may

distort the original distance graph. The proposed watermarking methodology preserves important

distance relationships, such as: the classical Nearest Neighbors (C-NN) of each object of the

original dataset. This leads to preservation of any mining operation that depends on the ordering

of distances between objects, such as CNN-search and classification, as well as many

visualization techniques. It provess fundamental lower and upper bounds on the distance

between objects watermarking.

In particular, it establishes a restricted isometric property, i.e., tight bounds on the

contraction/expansion of the original distances. This analysis used to design fast algorithms for

C-NN-preserving watermarking that drastically prunes the vast search space.

A multipurpose watermarking scheme which can be applied to achieve both

authentication and protection of data set has been presented in this proposed system. Watermarks

are embedded once in the hiding process and can be blindly extracted for different applications in

the detection process. The proposed scheme has three special features:

 The approximation information of a host image is kept in the hiding process by

utilizing masking thresholds.

 Oblivious and robust watermarking is achieved for copy- right protection.

 Fragile watermarking is achieved for detection of malicious modifications and tol-

erance of incidental manipulations.

 In addition to images (gray-scale and color), this method has been extended to au-

dio watermarking. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first method that com-

bines both robust
