Course Objective
Following are the objectives of this course
 To present the Digital fundamentals, Boolean algebra and its applications in digital
systems
 Understanding the different number systems used in computerized system, and codes
used to represent the digits, and fundamental of arithmetic operation using each
number system and codes.
 To familiarize with the design of various combinational digital circuits using logic
gates
 Analysing the operation and design constraints of CMOS and TTL circuit for logic
fabrication.
 To introduce the analysis and design procedures for synchronous and asynchronous
sequential circuits
 To repair & maintain electronic systems and gadgets with the knowledge of digital
electronics.
 Verifying and analysing the practical digital circuits.
 To present a problem oriented introductory knowledge of digital circuits and its
applications.
