Pattern

INFO AND TIPS

- Read the pattern before starting to crochet.


- Crochet in continuous, spiral rounds unless otherwise stated in the pattern.
- Stuff your amigurumi firmly as you go.
- Try to make tight stitches to avoid the holes.
- Always mark the beginning of each round using a stitch marker
- Pattern doesn’t contain tutorials for stitches

ABBREVIATIONS
ch = chain
sc = single crochet, I use “x” shaped single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
BLO = work the stitch in the back loop only
FLO = work the stitch in the front loop only
scinc = work 2sc in the same st to increase
scdec = invisible single crochet decrease (crochet 2 sts together in only front loops)
Rnd/Rnds = round/rounds
slst = slip stitch
st/sts = stitch/stitches
(..) = number of stitches at the end of the round

Ch8
Make 3sc into the second chain from the hook, then make 1slst into each of the 6 remaining
chains. Fasten off, leaving a long tail.

PETALS (make 6, three of each colour)
With col. 068 and col. 039

Ch10, start with the second chain from the hook.


Rnd 1: 3sc, 5hdc, 6hdc into the last st. Now we’re going to work on the other side of the
foundation chain, 5hdc, 3sc (22 sts)
Rnd 2: 3sc, 5hdc, hdcinc x6, 5hdc, 3sc (28 sts)
Slst into the first sc. Fasten off leaving a long tail.

LEAVES (make 2)

Ch15, start with a second chain from the hook. Make 1hdc into each of the remaining
chains.
Fasten off, leaving a long tail.

Assembly
Sew the stamens into the top of the stem. Sew the leaves into the bottom of the stem.
Use the pins to position petals around the stamens and sew them tightly.
Now you can add some roots. To do so, make a few safety knots with the col. 002 on the bottom
of the bulb, cut for the desired length and brush lightly.
