Faculty - Standard Operating Procedure
❖ Objective: Faculties play a pivotal role in the academic and professional development of students,
aligning with Red & White Education Pvt. Ltd.’s vision of becoming a globally leading institute and its
mission to empower students with skills tailored to their potential. This SOP outlines the structured
responsibilities and guidelines to be followed by Faculties to deliver high-quality education, ensure
students are industry-ready, and foster an engaging learning environment in alignment with the
institute's core values of Integrity, Student-Centric Focus, Innovation, and Unity.
❖ Particulars:
15 min. – Ready with questions from the previous lecture. Write the
assignment if given. During these 15 mins., the faculty will be in the
lab with the students of the last batch to solve the errors.
A. Pre-Class Responsibility
● Batch Management:
○ Collaborate with the Branch Manager to create batches in the LMS.
○ Assign students to the LAB portal linked to the LMS.
● Content Preparation: Prepare engaging, real-life examples to ensure understanding, incorporating
global trends to align with the institute's vision.
● Attendance Management: Ensure students attend classes through regular mentorship and follow-ups.
● Project and Assignment Review: Ensure timely assessment and feedback on student submissions.
B. In-Class Responsibility
● Lecture Delivery:
- Start and conclude lectures on time, adhering to the syllabus and progress sheet.
- Use customized, industry-relevant examples to engage students and embed ethical
decision-making in project evaluations.
● Classroom Management:
- Maintain discipline and a noise-free environment.
- Address student queries empathetically while promoting inclusivity.
● Language Preference:Conduct lectures in the local language, or in English/other approved languages
with students' consent if needed.
● Dress Code: Adhere to the institute’s Uniform Policy during official tasks and lectures.
● Project Guidelines: Inform students to submit project links on the portal from the start to the last day of
submission.
C. Post-Class Responsibility
1. Academic Updates: Suggest updates to course material aligning with industry trends to the CD&T
department through raising a ticket over KEKA.
2. Continuous Learning:
a. Attend ToT programs, expert sessions, and self-learning activities.
b. Complete tasks and assignments from training sessions.
3. Syllabus Adherence:
a. Complete syllabus as per the Syllabus & progress sheet timeline and course duration.
b. Conduct extra classes if a batch lags behind schedule.
4. Assessment Tasks:
a. Assign projects, assignments, technical mock rounds, and exams per syllabus timelines.
b. Evaluate submissions, assign marks in LMS, and review theoretical assignments.
5. Result Compilation: Prepare exam results per the result-launching guidelines and submit them to the
Front Desk Executive.
● Low-Performance Support: Conduct revision lectures or extra sessions for struggling students.
● Placement Responsibilities:
○ Responsible for helping students organize their resumes, portfolios, and preparing them for
mock interviews. You will also assist in placing students in companies with attractive salary
packages.
○ Train students in corporate etiquette and usage of online platforms like GitHub, Behance, and
Dribbble etc. for showcasing work.
○ Incorporate training for national and international certifications and global industry practices to
enhance student employability.
● Scheduling:
○ Conduct PTMs of all students every three months as shown in the LMS dashboard.
○ Notify parents at least three days in advance.
● Student Assessment Reports:
○ Prepare and discuss comprehensive reports covering technical, soft skills, and behavior from
LMS.
○ Suggest areas for improvement considering current & previous PTM assessment reports and
discuss institute achievements.
● Follow-Up: Record meeting outcomes and remarks in LMS.
● Follow guidelines for exams, assignments, projects, and other SOPs available on KEKA.
● Align all activities with institutional policies and maintain academic integrity.
G. Institute-Oriented Responsibility
● Organize expert sessions, placement drives, and career counseling to enhance student career
opportunities.
● Conduct technical seminars and workshops inside & outside of the institute to improve professional
skills.
● Incorporate project-based learning, gamification, and emerging technologies into teaching methods.
● Generate student reference admissions from current students.
● Share ideas and suggest updates to align academic processes with industry trends.
● Mentor students on global career opportunities, cross-cultural communication, and international
certifications.
● Participate in Faculty Development Programs (FDP), National and International certifications
competitions, and expert sessions for professional growth.
● Faculty with KPIs below 60% for a quarter will enter a PIP.
Summary
By adhering to this SOP, faculties contribute to shaping students' successful careers, aligned with the institute's
vision of empowering global careers. Red & White Education Pvt. Ltd. retains the right to revise these SOPs to
ensure academic excellence. Effective communication is paramount, requiring polite interaction and respect for
all team members and students. Additionally, it is expected to stand up and extend respect to the CEO, Board
of Members, and Heads when they visit the workplace, expressing well-wishes. This commitment is
