The course English for Academic Purposes is designed to enhance the English language
proficiency of students, equipping them with essential academic communication skills.
Through a combination of grammar, reading, writing, speaking, and listening practice,
Course rationale the course prepares students for effective academic performance. It focuses on building
critical reading and listening abilities, improving grammatical accuracy in writing, and
fostering spontaneous speaking skills, all of which are crucial for success in academic
environments.
The primary objective of EAP 009 is to enable students to develop the necessary
academic language skills for success in their studies. By the end of the course, students

There will be at least two class tests. A CT can be taken without any prior announcement. If more
