NURTURING TEAMWORK SKILLS IN
YOUTH
Teamwork is a process in which a group of people make a team and work together to
achieve a specific goal or complete a task. Every individual has a unique set of abilities
and talent, in teamwork everyone use its full potential and by mutual collaboration their
purpose achieved. Sometime people aren’t aware of their potentials, by teamwork
process they also unlock their potentials and they come to know about what they are
capable of. We can also say that, teamwork is not just a skill; it's a mindset because we
see how people actions support the team's goals.

Research Overview
The research underscores the critical
importance of teamwork skills in personal,
academic, and professional spheres,
prompting universities to incorporate them
into their curricula. The research focused
on assessing teamwork skills among
Spanish university students, particularly
examining the impact of socio-academic
variables such as gender, academic year,
and grade point average (GPA) on their
proficiency in these skills. The findings
revealed noteworthy gender differences,
with female students demonstrating
superior teamwork skills overall, except in
leadership.
Additionally, students exhibited improved teamwork skills with academic progression,
specifically in adaptability and decision-making. A positive correlation was identified between
teamwork skills and GPA, with regression analysis emphasizing the influential roles of academic
year and GPA, particularly for women. The study suggests the need for adjustments in
university education programs to address socio-academic factors and leverage gender-specific
strengths in teamwork, ultimately fostering equal and equitable higher education.
Conclusion
Teamwork is a collaboration process in
which every team member work on a
team goal by using their different skills
i.e. communication skills, creativity skills
and leadersip skills. They share their
visions and thoughts. We can nuture
teamwork skills in youth which benificial
for them it is not just about achieving
immediate goals, it's an investment in the
long-term success and resilience of the
team.
