What is parallel structure?
The balance between two or more similar words,
phrases, or clauses is called parallelism in grammar.
What is Parallelism?
Parallelism is the matching of the forms of words,
phrases, or clauses within a sentence.
Examples:

I like jogging and walking.

The following need to have parallel grammatical


construction:
1. Words, phrases, and clauses joined by a coordinating
conjunction including for, and, nor, but, or, yet and so;
2. Words, phrases, and clauses joined by a correlative
conjunction

neither…nor;
3. Words, phrases, and clauses joined by a comparative
expression including as much as, more than, and less than;
and
4. Words, phrases, and clauses in a series.

The students will form three groups and work together
with honesty. Each group will be assigned a different set of
five words/phrases and must construct meaningful
sentences for each. Groups should discuss their ideas,
write their sentences neatly on a sheet of manila paper,
and ensure they are grammatically correct. Once finished,
a representative from each group will read their sentences
aloud to the class. Be creative and make sure everyone
participates in the activity. The task must be completed
within 5 minutes. Scoring will be based on specific criteria,
and the team with the highest score will receive a reward.
Scoring Criteria:

4. Procedures

participate in the task of spotting the odd one out in the picture. They
must choose one letter that is the odd one out. If a member knows the
answer, they will say, 'I do.' The first group to say 'I do' will have the
chance to share their answer.
