for solving air pollution but the government will take responsibility to solve
this. In my opinion the protection the air pollution is not only responsibility of
Government but also individual’s effort.

On the one hand, we know that the forest keep the position very important in
the earth’s environment. However, forest’s area are decreasing quickly lead to
environmental pollution such as greenhouse effect, natural disasters…It can be
seen that Government plays an important role in the campaign to protect the
environment of our earth. Firstly, they should issue these policy about cutting
emissions into the atmosphere. Start from cutting down trees for housing,
agriculture or timber to reducing factories' emissions. Secondly, they can apply
fiscal policies. With the individuals or organizations violate the law of forest
protection were undergo strong measure from Government. Finally, besides the
fiscal policies they should encourage people in country activity plants trees.

On the other hand, I believe that each individuals must be responsible for
protecting forests. People should stop destroying nonselective for housing,
agriculture or wood. Besides, we should plant more young trees and protect
exist forests. And raise awareness of forest protection in the community. Such
as trees planting program in schools, organize television programs on
environmental protection, especially forest protection.

In conclusion, for the reasons I have mentioned above, I believe that

government and individuals must join hand to protect forests and protect the air
because this is our common home and it directly affects our-life.

Topic 2 Learning (preriod of time)

Some people think that learning only take place in a particular place and at a
particular period of time. Other argue that learning should be a continuous
process rather a stage in a person’s life. That is the reason why many people
believe that it is never too late to learn.(Agree / Disagree)

Learning is important for everyone. People have different views about this
issue. Someone who think that learning only take in particular place and at a
particular period of time. However, others argue that learning should be a
continuous process in person’s life. While I accepted that learning is not
necessary all life. But I believe that it is not to late to learn.

On the one hand, we know that learning should be organized into a system for
each country. At each of these stage, different ages, the amount of knowledge

taught will also look different. So learning according a particular of time, such
as the education of kids is different with students of primary school or high
school. Furthermore, the education system in each country is constructed in
accordance with socio-cultural. So leaner should be learn at particular place

In the other hand, learning is also a continuous process. Firstly, knowledge is

endless so we can not learn all knowledge only at a particular period of time.
Secondly, in addition to school work, we were able to learn at home or cafe
store , anywhere we feel focus on learning. So learning not only take place in
particular places. Lastly, in addition to knowledge at school we can also learn
more knowledge outside the society, even knowledge from other countries.

Television is the most popular form of entertainment in many households.
People of all ages use this media to entertain themselves for many hours a day.
Thus, TV has had a tremendous influence on its viewers, especially children.
However some people worry that children can be negatively affected by

Over the past few years, television has become the most popular form of
entertainment in many households. Some people believe that children can be
negatively affected by constantly watching television. Television is a device
that provides information, entertainment programs but if we use it too much it
will have negatively affected especially children and I agree with this opinion.

On the one hand, there are variety of reasons why television programs is
beneficial. Firstly, television programs bring entertainment for everyone so it
helps families and people feel more connected. For example, after school hours
or working time, then they get home they can relax and reduce stress by
watching entertainment programs. Secondly, television programs in addition to
entertainment also provide socioeconomic information. TV shows bring variety
of knowledge to children such as educational programs on television.

On the other hand, today’s children are not interested in educational programs.
They focus on entertainment that is beyond their age, movies tend to be violent
on youtube. It is negative affect to perception and lifestyle of children. Besides,
TV become an indispensable part for kids especially in every meal. One of the
reasons is that parents are too busy and lack control of their children’s TV
viewing. Furthermore, TV has a bad influence on kids, because children who
spend too much time watching TV are more likely to be overweight.

Topic 4 Homeshooling
Homeschooling is a trend in many countries and is accepted in many education
systems (student will be taught by their parents at home). Is homeschooling
popular in your country? Should keep this or not? Reasons?

People have different views about homeschooling, many peoples argue that
children should go to school, but others prefer educating for their children at
home. In this essay I am going to examine this question from both points of
views.

On of the hand, there are many benefits of educating students from home.
Firstly, a students studying at home with parents can get personal attention
from parents which results in good academic results. Furthermore, parents are
aware of their child’s weakness and can help them pass. As a result, when
study at home which help children feel more comfortable and give shool
performance better.

On the other hand, there are also many benefits of going to school to child’s
development. The teachers in school have professional knowledge to teaching
children. Furthermore, as we know the children should be learn teamwork and
have friends to share lessons as well as share difficulties in their life. Lastly,
parents do not have as much time to teach their children all things in life as
they did in school.

In conclusion, for the reasons I have mentioned above I accept that children
should go to school instead of study at home. Especially, in Vietnam, study at
home seem unpopular.

Topic 5 VN students study Eng

Some people may argue that many Vietnamese students study English for years
but not many of them can use English to communicate well. In order to
improve the quality of English learning and teaching in Vietnam. It is strongly
recommended that English should be taught by native teachers
only.(Agree/disagree)

Nowadays, English more and more become popular and is the 2 nd language in
many countries. In Vietnam students study English for years but can not
communicate well. Many peoples argue that English should be taught by native
teachers only. While I accept that the communication in English of Vietnamese
students was not good, I believe that we should not taught English by native
teachers only.

English of Vietnamese students is not good. Firstly, at the difficult areas, then

do not good. As a result, in Vietnam the use of English only common in the big
city and almost longer strange in the countryside.

On the other hand, although learning English from native teachers will be
better than Vietnamese teachers. Such as about pronunciation and practice.
However, as we know that wages paid for native teachers is very high, even 5
times teachers salaries in Vietnam. Besides, the different languages make the
learning English for Vietnamese students more difficult.

In conclusion, for the reasons I have mentioned above, I believe that the
teaching English for Vietnamese student shouldn’t taught by native teachers
only.

Topic 6 girls children

Children especially girls, do not need to know how to cook and do housework.

Over the past few years, some people argue that children, especially girls, need
to know how to cook and housework. But nowadays people have different
views about girls needn’t know how to cook and housework. While I accept
this opinion but I believe that girls should know cook and housework. In this
essay, I am going to discuss for that.

On the one hand, there are a variety of reasons why children especially girls do
not need to know how to cook and do housework. Firstly, today men and
women are equal in all things, such as today’s women hold important positions
in organization, the same in housework women are not the only ones in the
family who have to cook and do housework, even the men of the family can do
those. Moreover, today’s young people, especially girls who are interested in
personal development more than cooking and housework, have become a trend
among young people. Lastly, housemaid is now common job, so it can save us
time in cleaning or cook. Therefore, women no longer have to do house work
like before.

On the other hand, as we know meals are an important part of the happiness of
a family. Cooking help the family feel more bonded, and the taste of the mother
cooks is always the most special compare to the other dishes. Therefore, the
girls who will become mothers in the future should know how to cook and
housework. Moreover, each family’s meals have become a beautiful tradition
in Vietnamese culture. Such as in the Tet holiday, mothers will cook the

warm and bustling atmosphere.

Nowadays, computer has become the popular devices. However, along with the

harmful. While I accept that computer games are harmful but I believe that play
game is also help us more smart.

On the one hand, there are many reasons why computer games negative impact
on people, especially children. Firstly, the majority of computer games is the
violent games. It will negative impact to personality of the player. Secondly,
the content and images in the game are often sensitive. This is malicious
content with children. Lastly, play game is very easy to be addicted. Children
will skip school, even lying and stealing money of parents to go to play games.

On the other hand, computer games are not completed bad. Today, many
people also make money from the game, even their income is very high. Of
course, they have to consider gaming as a job and do hard that work. Moreover,
play games also help training for the brain become agility and more smart.

In conclusion, for the reasons I have mentioned above, I believe that computer
games are harmful, although it still have the good points.

Topic 8 Picture books are better for children’s imagination than TV

Nowadays, when the device technology is growing then children is also

familiar with the entertainment games on the television and the computer.
Some people argue that picture books are better for children’s imagination than
Tivi. While I accept that picture books are better than tivi but I believe that
television or computer is also have benefits with children’s imagination.

On the one hand, there are many reasons why picture books good for
imagination of children. Firstly, when reading the brain of children must to
think, so it stimulates the children’s brain development, especially about
imagination skill. Secondly, using technology equipment such as Tivi,
computer too much will cause the eyes to weaken. From the landing leads to
myopia in children more. Lastly, reading will help us remember longer as well
as remember the artwork or the story, sticking to childhood.

smoking habit of people, when applying strict control will meet a bad reaction

On the other hand, I believe that smoking is very harmful to smoker and the

impact from smoke. Moreover, cigarette smoke makes the air environment

get high income without having to work as hired.

In the recent, overweight has come a worrying problem in social nowadays.
More and more children become overweight. I will discuss about reasons and
give some possible solution for this problem.

It can be noted that there are some import reasons why children become obese.
Firstly, the development of the Food and Beverage industry to make food and
drink more delicious and attractive. Then children are tempted to consume
them everyday.
Secondly, children tend to be lazier, they like electronic equipment and can
spend time continuously playing games or smart phones, or watching films. So
they lack physical exercise or out door activities, which causes obese become a
trend.
There are some solutions that should be taken into consideration. Firstly, the
children’s parents should care for their children. They can have dinner together
at their house and watch television together. Besides, parents should control
what children eat every meal. Parents can encourage children to participate in
activities at their school. Secondly, schools should have more activities about
physical exercise for students, for example regularly organize sport

country to work in another country is for better salaries and benefits. In their
home country, they do not have an advanced working environment like in
industrial countries. They will feel that their own knowledge has no land to
grow and their contributions are not recognized. Beside, the standard of living
and social welfare in developing countries cannot meet their needs, so priority
they will get in a richer country, a places meet the needs of their life and offers
a modern working environment.

There are solutions that should be taken into consideration. One significant
solution may be that the government should launch special plans and
employment opportunities for the educated youth. Secondly, the government
should think about borrowing from the World Bank to improve health facilities
and education and the working environment to help the skilled people to have a
comfortable life in their country. In addition, the government and business
owners should offer their employees sabbaticals and the priority policy they
can get when they come back should be put into perspective.

In conclusion, I would agree that brain drain has greatly affected the
developing countries, and better pay and good standard of living and working
environment are the best possible solutions to stop the migration of skilled
people to work in another countries.

impossible to breathe and we may meet robbers.

In conclusion, public transport has not only advantages but also disadvantages.
I personally think using public transportation is a good method.

using the sky train makes the city look more beautiful and modern. Besides, it

construction costs for the sky train system are very large, this is the biggest
difficulty for the developing countries. So the fare is very high and it is too

more their dream. Then they can find the job is the most suitable to yourself.

In the past people just think that go to work, they must come to the office. But
nowadays working from home is slowly becoming popular phrases. Even it
become a trend, especially in the young people. While I accept that this has
benefits and drawbacks I would argue that there are more advantages than
disadvantages.

On the one hand, there are many benefits of working from home. Firstly, we
have more a lot of time cause we don’t have to travel to office. So won’t stuck
in traffic in the morning and hours shift in the afternoon. Secondly, for women
they don’t need to makeup or have to choose outfit to go to work then make
them feel more comfortable while working. Moreover, we will have more time
for housework such as we can cook for family and housecleaning. And lastly,
we will have more time to bed and relax.

On the other hand, this trend is also have drawbacks for employee. Firstly, the
case of an emergency while working need to refer to superior, the working
from home will be more difficult when working at the company. Besides, when

office of the company. So employees must work at the office.

Nowadays, life have many pressure we, then we have many ways to handle
that. On of the ways it is travelling. People have different views about that
travel alone or travel group. In this essay, I am going to explain my opinion is
argue that travel group will be better than travel alone.

On the one hand, as we know when we travel group we have many benefits.
Firstly, travel group it will be more cheerful. For example, we can organize
team building play the group games. It help people are relax and everyone have
a strong attachment to group. Secondly, travel group help us save more money
than travel alone. Such as the costs of travel or accommodation costs. Besides,
we will have these beautiful photos with each others. And that will be the
memories that help people loved each other better.

On the other hand, travel group is also have drawbacks. Firstly, if we travel
alone we can go to anywhere we want and eat everything we like. But travel
group always ride with group and eat and drink with group. It make us feel
don’t freedom. Secondly, sometime we need to have a private space to relax,
but travel group will be difficult to be alone.

In conclusion, I often go to travel with my team because it make me feel more

fun and close to the people. So I believe that travel group will be more

Besides, you not only have not income for one year but also lose a large
amount of expenses for the gap year. Then in developing countries the
economic conditions for a year of travelling are quite difficult.

In conclusion, I believe both arguments have their merits. On balance,

however, I feel that young people should spend a year travelling before starting
college or work because it help them become more mature in life.
