Opening and Welcome

MC:

Good [morning/afternoon], everyone!

A warm welcome to all of you who are here today to celebrate our students’ achievements in the Oral
Communication Culminating Activity! We’re gathered here to witness their hard work, talent, and growth in the field
of communication, and today promises to be a day of inspiration and excitement.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our wonderful teachers, our dedicated students, and our
esteemed guests for gracing us with your presence. This event would not be possible without your continued
support. Let’s all enjoy and celebrate this special day together.

MC:

To formally open our program, I invite everyone to please stand as we begin with a prayer, which will be led by Ms.
Krystel Ann Clemente.

(After the prayer)

MC:

Thank you, Ms. Clemente. Please remain standing as we honor our country by singing the National Anthem.

(National Anthem plays)

MC:

Thank you. You may now be seated.

MC:

It’s now my privilege to welcome you all to this event. Let us hear from our very own Oral Communication teacher,
the one who has guided our students throughout this journey—Mrs. Odinah B. Martinez.

(After the speech)

MC:

Thank you, Mrs. Martinez, for your inspiring words of encouragement.

MC:

And now, we have the honor of introducing the distinguished panel of judges who will be evaluating the speech
presentations today. These judges bring with them a wealth of knowledge, experience, and expertise in the field of
communication, and we are grateful for their time and valuable input.

Let’s welcome and applaud our esteemed judges:

Mrs. Ma. Agnes L. Solis, a graduate of the University of Antique with a degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education,
Major in English. She is currently a Teacher 3 and Teacher-in-Charge at Northern Bugasong National High School.

Mrs. Anabelle Castillon, a graduate of Polytechnic State College of Antique (now University of Antique), also with a
degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education, Major in English. She is currently a Teacher 3 at Northern Bugasong
National High School.
Mrs. Hope M. Valdepeñas, a graduate of the University of Antique with a degree in Bachelor of Secondary
Education, Major in English. She currently serves as a Teacher 1 at Northern Bugasong National High School.

Let’s give them a warm round of applause for taking the time to be with us today!

MC:

Now, allow me to present the criteria for evaluating the speech presentations.

[Insert criteria here.]

The moment we’ve all been waiting for has arrived—the Speech Presentations! Each of our participants has worked
diligently to prepare, and now they will showcase their skills, creativity, and unique perspectives. Let’s show our full
support as they take the stage.

First up, we have [Name of Participant #1]. Please give them a big round of applause!

(Continue introducing each participant with brief encouragement after each speech.)

MC:

While our judges deliberate, let us take a moment to enjoy a performance by [Name or Group].

(After the performance)

MC:

Thank you for that energetic and captivating performance! Now, as our judges work to evaluate the speeches, let’s
give a huge round of applause to all our participants for their incredible efforts today.

MC:

The time has come to recognize the outstanding performances of our participants. To lead the Awarding Ceremony,
may I call on [Name of Award Presenter(s)] to take the stage.

(After the awarding)

MC:

Congratulations to all our awardees and participants for a job well done! Your hard work and dedication have truly
shone through today.

As we near the end of today’s program, let us take a moment to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who
made this event possible—the organizers, the judges, the teachers, and, most importantly, our students. Thank you
all for your contributions, efforts, and passion.

We hope this day serves as a reminder of the importance of effective communication in shaping our future.

Have a wonderful day ahead, and we look forward to seeing you in our future activities. Thank you, and see you next
