Pep Rally Assembly Agenda - September 27th

Theme: All Grades Show Off Your School Spirit!

Colors: Red, White, & Grey!

Event Schedule
Slideshow: Have Terry Fox Winners on the screen as classes are coming in

1. Opening Dance (5 MIN)

● Description: Gym lights blackout, upbeat music starts, and colorful lights flash. Dancers
energize the crowd!

2. Logan & Emmerson (5 MIN)

● Activity: A funny spirit skit to kick things off.


● Introduction: Introduce the first spirit game—Balloon Game or Costume Game.
● Participation: Get participants from each grade involved!

3. MCs Segment (2 MIN)

● Slideshow: JOIN CABINET! Class code


● Engagement: Isy & Thaida Introduction

4. Athletic Council (10 MIN)

● Leaders: Sharon Nwoko & Favour Arisekola-Ojo


● Music 1: Play FLO - Walk Like This (Official Instrumental)

● Fall sports Relay: 1 Athlete from each team ( 2 Jr 2 Sr Bball, 2 Jr 2 Sr Volley, 2 Jr
Soccer, 2 Cross Country

1. Each Sr Girl and Jr Girl must make 2 baskets, 1 from the elbows and 1 from the 3 point
line.
2. Each Cross Country Player must do 2 burpees, 3 jumping jacks and 4 high knees.
3. Sr and Jr volleyball players on the same team will work together to keep a beach ball in
the air. They must make 7 passes to move on. If the ball touches the ground they will
restart.
4. Jr boys soccer player dribbles a soccer ball between 3 cones and scores.

5. Mascot Chase (4 MIN) Noelyn

● Slideshow: Ohh no Leanord got loose!! Transition to oooh its cold in here slide
● Music: Play Mascot chase music file.
● Activity: MCs chase the Lion Mascot into the gym.
● Crowd Chant: Start the “OOOH IT'S COLD IN HERE” chant!

3. MCs Segment (2 MIN)

● Slideshow: JOIN CABINET! Class code


● Engagement: Isy & Thaida Introduction

6. Hungry Hungry Hippos KAORI & TAMIKA (10 MIN)

● Slideshow: HUNGRY HIPPOS!! 2 volunteers from each grade! Raise your hand to be
chosen!!
● Game Description: Large-scale version of the classic game where students and
teachers compete.
● Teams: Two students from each grade.
● Rules and Play: Teams race to collect as many balls as possible using large baskets.

7. MCs Segment (2 MIN)

● Slideshow: Jazz Combo Band!


8. Jazz Combo Band Performance (5 MIN)

● Slideshow: Jazz Combo Band


● Description: Enjoy a live performance from the Jazz Combo Band!

9. MCs Segment (2 MIN)

● Slideshow: Affinity Groups Google Classrooms


● Intro Culture Dance: Commend Jazz Combo Band and introduce Culture Dance
performance.

10. Cultural Dance Performance (5 MIN)

● Slideshow: Affinity Groups Google Classrooms


● Performance: Liz & Josefina Chilean Cueca | Manveer Punjabi Dance

11. Parkinson (3 MIN)

● Slideshow: Hoco/chant to bring up the mood after?

12. HEY BABY (5 MIN)

● Finale: All of Cabinet demonstrates some fun moves to wrap up the event!
