Mock Job Application Final Final
Mock Job Application Final Final
Question 1:
I believe I am suitable for a communications job because I can understand and convey
information clearly. Additionally, I have the ability to analyze information and tailor messages to
target specific audiences. Since the first year, I have had experience participating in
communication activities such as media planning, advertising, writing media articles, creating
content, and coming up with ideas for event promotion activities. I had the opportunity to
participate in the CLover - FLy High Volunteer Project. Accordingly, I have experience writing
media articles on page for project activities during the operation period. Besides, I have basic
video editing skills and experience in media. I create content and shoot scripts for the volunteer
project's TikTok videos. In addition, I am a member of the Media Committee for the TET
NOLO-Z event. In particular, I am in charge of the image concept before the event and during
the event. In addition, I can understand customer psychology as well as how to convey programs
most effectively due to my experience working in sales at Highlands Coffee.
Question 2:
With my previous experience as a community media manager for a project, I was a member of
the team tasked with improving the communication strategy for the project's social media
presence. The team consisted of five members, including graphic designers, a content strategist,
and myself as the social media manager.
Overall, my role within the team not only involved individual contributions but also effective
collaboration and communication, which ultimately contributed to the successful achievement of
our objectives.
Question 3:
In a previous project, I collaborated with a team to develop a new concept for a photo shoot for
an event. This is a Tet event with the technology style of Gen Z, so this photoshoot also had to
highlight how Gen-Z generation uses modern technology in the traditional Vietnamese Tet
holiday.
Despite careful planning and having contingency plans in place, we encountered unexpected
technical challenges during the implementation phase. Initially, we faced difficulties with the
props for the shoot. Creating props that adhered to the shoot's concept proved to be more
challenging than anticipated. I began to feel overwhelmed and stressed, which affected my
communication with the team. Consequently, we had to postpone the shoot, resulting in a
shortened post-production and editing time frame. We were unable to complete this task within
the desired time frame, leading to a delay in the entire event.
From this experience, I learned the importance of maintaining composure and clear
communication when facing adversity. In hindsight, I realize that we could have sought support
from other teams earlier in the process. In the future, I will prioritize regular progress updates,
encourage open dialogue among team members, and establish contingency plans to address
potential obstacles more effectively. Additionally, I will focus on maintaining a positive attitude
and resilience in challenging situations to foster a more efficient team working environment.
