Syllabus Addendum F24
Addendum:
Grades:
The letter grades (A-F) will be assigned by a Gaussian distribution
function. The mean of the class will be set accordance to how the
lecturer judges the class as a whole performed during the semester. The
total grade will be composed of the following:
Attendance/Class Participation 2 10 %
Homework3 15 %
Mid-term Exam (4.26 Fri @ 7 PM) 35%
Final Exam (6.7 Fri @ 7 PM) 40%
Others:
Missed mid-term and final:: No make-up mid-terms or final will be
given. Unless a compelling force majeure is given, a ‘0’ grade will be
assigned for the missed mid-term and/or final.
1
If you need to see me in person, please set up an appointment via email.
2
Attendance will be recorded by “전자출결시스템” ten minutes before and after 12:30 PM.
3
There are total of six homework assigned during this semester. The homework grade will be
calculated from top five scores for each student. Please send in your homework to the TA on time and
that it reflects all the necessary steps to arrive at a solution.
