1. Write the steps in creating an email address

Here are the steps used in creating an email account:

Step 1: Go to the Google Account Sign-up Page

1. Open a web browser (e.g., Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari).

2. Navigate to the Google account sign-up page .

Step 2: Enter Your First and Last Name

1. In the “First name” field, enter your first name.

2. In the “Last name” field, enter your last name.

Step 3: Choose a Username

1. In the “Username” field, enter a unique username (this will be your Gmail
address).

2. If the username is already taken, Google will suggest alternatives.

Step 4: Create a Password

1. In the “Password” field, enter a strong and unique password.

2. Make sure your password meets Google’s password requirements (e.g., at


least 8 characters, including uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and
special characters).
Step 5: Enter Your Recovery Information

1. In the “Recovery email address” field, enter an alternate email address


(optional but recommended).

2. In the “Recovery phone number” field, enter your phone number (optional
but recommended).

Step 6: Verify Your Age and Accept the Terms of Service

1. Select your birthdate from the dropdown menus.

2. Review Google’s Terms of Service and check the box to accept them.

Step 7: Click “Next” and Verify Your Account

1. Click the “Next” button.

2. Google will send a verification email to your new Gmail address.

3. Open the email and click the verification link to activate your account.

That’s it! You now have a Google account, which gives you access to a range
of Google services, including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, and more.
