Important Instruction :

1. The application form will be filled on MP online portal (https://mgcgv.mponline.gov.in).


The application form will be available on the portal.
2. The last date to fill the application form on the portal is 01 February 2024.
3. The last date for downloading the filled application form from the portal and sending it to
the university by post along with all the relevant documents is 12 February 2024. Filled
application form: Send to Registrar, Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodaya
Vishwavidyalaya Chitrakoot, Satna, Madhya Pradesh 485334. The University will not
be responsible for any postal delay.
4. It is mandatory to mention advertisement number, name of the post applied for and category
on the envelope.
5. The application fee is Rs 2000/- for General & Other Backward Class and Rs 1000/- for
Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Disabled candidates of M.P. State.
6. Qualification and other relevant information related to the advertisement is available on in
the university website: www.gramodayachitrakoot.ac.in
7. Application form fee once paid shall not be refundable under any circumstances.
8. In service candidate must apply through proper channel.
9. Mere eligibility will not entitle any candidate to be called for interview. In case the
applications are more in numbers a screening committee shall short list the most eligible
candidates to be called for the interview.
10. Reservation as per M.P.Govt. rules. Age limit as per UGC/State Govt. of M.P. rules.
11. Relaxation in age in Reserve Category will be as per UGC/State Govt. of M.P. norms.
Important Instruction
UGC REGULATIONS ON MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPOINTMENT OF
TEACHERS AND OTHER ACADEMIC STAFF IN UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES
AND MEASURES FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF STANDARDS IN HIGHER
EDUCATION, 2018, Amended Regulation 2023 ( Second Amendment) & concerned statutory
bodies as amended from time to time.

OTHER ESSENTIAL INFORMATION AND CLARIFICATIONS:


1. Incomplete application in any respect shall not be considered.
2. The time taken by the candidates to acquire M.Phil. and / or Ph.D. degree shall not be
considered as teaching / research experience to stake claim for appointment to the
teaching positions.
3. In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection which may be detected at
any stage even after the issuance of appointment letter, the University reserves the right
to modify / withdraw / cancel any communication made to the candidates.
4. The reservations/relaxations policy for SC / ST / OBC / PwBD Candidates shall be
provided as per the existing Govt. of M.P State policy.
5. In case of reserved posts, a relaxation of 5% shall be allowed at the Bachelor’s as well as at
the Master‘s level for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Other
Backward Classes (OBC) (Non-creamy Layer) / Differently-abled ((a) Blindness and low

vision;(b) Deaf and Hard of Hearing; (c) Locomotor disability including cerebral palsy,
leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid-attack victims and muscular dystrophy; (d) Autism, intellectual
disability, specific learning disability and mental illness; I Multiple disabilities from amongst
persons under (a) to (d) including deaf-blindness) for the purpose of eligibility and assessing
good academic record for direct recruitment. The eligibility marks of 55% marks (or an
equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) and the relaxation
of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible, based only on the qualifying marks
without including any grace mark procedure.
6. A relaxation of 5% shall be provided, (from 55% to 50% of the marks) to the Ph.D. Degree
holders who have obtained their Master’s Degree prior to19 September, 1991.
7. Candidates applying for the post(s) reserved for OBC, should submit a self-attested copy of
valid caste certificate specifically mentioning Creamy Layer-exclusion in the format
prescribed by Govt. of M.P State.
8. The University reserves the right to restrict the candidates to be called for interview to a
reasonable number based on qualifications and experience higher than the minimum
prescribed as decided by duly constituted Scrutiny Committee(s) and approved by VC . Call
letters for attending interview shall be sent only to the short-listed candidates by E-mail
only. No correspondence shall be entertained with applicants who are not short-listed to
be called for interview.
9. The "UGC Approved List of Journals" has been replaced with the new "UGC-CARE
Reference list of Quality Journals" and with effect from 14.06.2019, the same shall be
considered prospectively wherever applicable. Further, research publications on or after
14.06.2019 shall bein the journals included in the "UGC-CARE Reference list of Quality
Journals" wherever applicable.
10. The University shall not be responsible for any loss of e-mail, loss of any communication due
to wrong address provided by the candidates.
11. No TA / DA shall be paid for attending the interview.
12. Call letters and other correspondence for attending the interview, etc., shall be sent to the
eligible candidates by email only and shall be displayed on the University website.
13. The character of a person for direct recruitment to the service must be such as to render him/her
suitable in all respects for appointment to the service. Persons dismissed by the Union
Government or by a State Government or by a Local Authority or a Government Corporation
owned or controlled by the Central Government or State Government shall be deemed to be
ineligible for appointment.
14. The terms and conditions of appointment shall be communicated to the candidate in the
form of “offer of appointment” to selected candidates. If the candidate does not accept the
terms and conditions mentioned in the offer of appointment within the stipulated time, the
offer shall be treated as withdrawn.
15. In the earmarked faculty positions the candidates must ensure that they have research and
publication in the specialized area as desired.
16. As per UGC Regulations 2018 and UGC Regulations 2023(Second Amendment) the norms
or standards laid down by the authorities and, norms and standards shall be applicable for the
post govern through AICTE and NCISM.
17. Applicants who have been awarded Ph.D. from foreign Universities should enclose
“Equivalence Certificate” issued by Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi, without
which their candidature will not be considered and application will summarily be rejected.

18. Only matriculation/SSC certificate/pass certificate issued by the concerned educational board
will be considered as proof of date of birth. No other document will be accepted for verification
of date of birth.
19. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWBD category should submit proper caste certificate
as per the proforma of Govt. of Madhya Pradesh.
20. Candidates must ensure before applyingthat they are eligible according to the criteria
stipulated in the advertisement. If the candidate is found ineligible at any stage of the
recruitment process, he/she will be disqualified and their candidature will be canceled.
Concealment of fact/information or submitting false information will lead to cancellation of
candidature at any stage of recruitment.
21. Any legal proceedings in respect of any matter of claim or dispute arising out of this
advertisement and/or an application in response that can be instituted only in Honorable High
Court Jabalpur Madhya Pradesh.
22. The University reserves the right to Revise/Reschedule/Cancel/Suspend the recruitment
process without assigning any reason. The decision of the University shall be final and no
appeal in this regard shall be entertained.
23. Any corrigendum/ changes/ updates related to the recruitment process shall be available on
official University website www.gramodayachitrakoot.ac.in
24. The candidate must attach all relevant hard copy documents which they have claimed in the
online application form. The original certificates would be required at the time of the interview
only. If called.
25. Candidates desirous of applying for more than one post should submit separate application for
each post along with requisite application fee.
26. The employed candidate should attach the copy of NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE (NOC)
and not no vigilance case is pending/being contemplated against him/her.
27. The decision of the Vice-Chancellor, MGCGV Chitrakoot Satna in all matters relating to
eligibility, acceptance or rejection of applications, mode of selection and conduct of interview
will be final and binding on the candidates and no enquiry or correspondence will be
entertained in this connection from any individual or his/ her agency.
28. Applications received without the requisite documents, fees, and after the prescribed date will
not be entertained in any case.
29. Candidates must be in sound health. They must, if selected be prepared to undergo such
medical examination and satisfy competent medical authority as the University may require.
30. The University reserves the right to change the number and nature of posts/vacancies without
assigning any reason.

Supervisor and Co-supervisor. Supervisor and Co-supervisor, both shall get 7 marks
each.
 *For the purpose of calculating research score of the teacher, the combined research score
from the categories of 5(b). Policy Document and 6. Invited lectures/Resource
Person/Paper presentation shall have an upper capping of thirty percent of the total research
score of the teacher concerned.
 The research score shall be from the minimum of three categories out of six categories.
