C. Router Configuration – Wireless Network [_____/5]

Can you connect to the 2.4 GHz network?

Yes the connection worked

Change the SSID to the 5GHz network and disable Authentication. Can you connect to the 5 GHz
network?

The connection did not work until I disabled the authentication, but after it worked

D. Router Configuration – Network Security by MAC filtering [_____/5]

On the smartphone, open Desktop > Command prompt, and use ipconfig /all to determine the MAC
address (physical address) of the wireless adapter (Wireless0 connection) of the smartphone. The MAC
address is
0006.2AE7.D184

Disable the MAC filtering and Save the settings. Can the smartphone connect to the network now?

Yes the phone reconnected after disabling MAC filtering

Save your Packet Tracer file with your first name and lab number, example: jim3.pkt

Submit the TWO separate files through Blackboard to receive marks for this lab. You are NOT ALLOWED
to compress/zip the two files together for submission.

Failure to name the files correctly as specified above and/or submitted the files as a compressed/zip file
and/or submitted the files in other types will result in Zero mark given to the lab.
