3 Explain evaluation?

Answer:

1. Explain instructional technology?

Instructional technology is the systematic development and application of techniques, tools, and
resources to improve the quality of teaching and learning. It is a combination of theories, techniques,
and tools to create effective and efficient learning experiences. The importance of instructional
technology lies in its ability to enhance the learning process by making it more engaging, interactive, and
effective. With the use of instructional technology, educators can create a variety of learning
experiences, including online courses, simulations, games, and multimedia presentations.

2. What do you mean by interactive instruction?

Interactive instruction is a teaching method in which the learners are actively involved in the learning
process through various means such as discussions, group work, and problem-solving activities. It
involves a two-way communication between the instructor and the learners, where the learners are
encouraged to ask questions, clarify their doubts, and actively participate in the learning process.
Interactive instruction has several benefits in the teaching-learning process. It enhances learners'
engagement, motivation, and critical thinking skills. It also promotes collaboration, communication, and
social skills among the learners.

3. Explain evaluation?

Evaluation is the process of assessing the effectiveness of the teaching-learning process. It involves the
collection and analysis of data to determine whether the learning objectives have been achieved or not.
There are various types of evaluation, including formative evaluation, summative evaluation, and
diagnostic evaluation. Formative evaluation is conducted during the learning process to provide
feedback to the learners and improve the learning experience. Summative evaluation is conducted at
the end of the learning process to assess the learners' performance. Diagnostic evaluation is conducted
before the learning process to identify the learners' strengths and weaknesses. Evaluation is important
in education because it helps to improve the quality of teaching and learning, provides feedback to the
learners, and ensures the attainment of the learning objectives.
