CHAPTER 3
GAME ANALYSIS

❖ Game Name and/or Logo


The game logo symbolizes as a unity that created by the
developers of the game and its portraits the game images which is
the kratos.

❖ Game Core Design


The game core design the used to develop the game is survival
game since its already common to become more entertain.
❖ Game Genre
- The game genre that was used is Strategy game since it’s up to the
user how he/she manage to survive the level.

❖ Game Elements
A. Player/s
• Kratos the main character is allowed to jump, move to left to
right or attack the enemy it could also choose 3 different
weapons as Skills and Abilities to killed the enemy.
• Player Interaction

B. Objectives
• The goal of the game is to collect coins to achieve the 3 stars
and killed all the enemy in order to survive the game before
headed to the next level of the game.

C. Procedures
• The game developer used key boards in order to move the
character up and down up to left to right and the spacebar will
be served as attack.
• Once the player followed the instruction the character will be
move according to its purpose very well.

D. Rules or Mechanics
• The rules of the game
- Collect coins to gain 3 stars.
- jump to avoid falling
- kill all the enemy
- Collect weapons
• Player’s can and cannot do

The players can only do movement of the character,


collecting coins and weapons to attack the enemy and the
other stuff will not be mention or included in the player can
do.
• Penalties applied for violation of rules
If ever the user violated the rules in the game the player will
definitely repeat the game from that start.
• Messages and pop-up instructions
There will be come out before the game started that instruct
the user on the things that needed to followed or to know its
purpose.

E. Resources
• The developer only used coins as the sources of the game
The purpose of the game was to collect to gain the 3 stars in
order to achieve the level.
F. Conflicts
• The developer used different tiles set in the game as an
obstacle that support the level.
• In the game the player would probably encounter different
opponents that made the level difficult.
• The Dilemmas of the game that might encounter from
different level are robot, mummy, spider, fire and razor.

G. Boundaries
The game boundaries of the game were the development of the
game was only made by Adobe Flash CS6 and the main goal of the
game was to collect coins to earn points and the character are only
allowed to move accordingly to its purpose.
H. Outcome
After reaching the main goal of the game the next level will be
unlocked and the user will proceed to the next level which contains
of common different level.

o Game Tools
- The game tools that used in the game was keyboard where in the
controllers are located.
- The advantage of using game tools is support the user to interact
with the character accordingly to its purpose by pressing the key
that assigned to the game movements.

❖ Game Platform

- The platform that was used “stand Alone” wherein the game can
only run from windows or desktop.
- The developer chose Stand alone as a platform because since the
game was made by Adobe Flash it will only be compatible for the
windows or desktop only.

- The tool that used to developed game was Adobe Flash Cs6
- Since the major subject is animation and it commonly used for some
activity purposes the developer grabs the chance to take this
opportunity to developed a game using Adobe Flash Cs6 were you
can also insert a different tile set or pictures that already constructed.
