WAREHOUSE NUMBER
In SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management), a
warehouse number is a unique identifier that defines a physical
warehouse or a logical storage area within a physical
warehouse.

STORAGE TYPE
In SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management), a storage
type is a classification of storage areas within a warehouse,
defining how materials are stored and managed.

STORAGE SECTION
In SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management), a storage
section is a subdivision of a storage type, representing a
specific area within a warehouse where materials are stored.

STORAGE BIN TYPE


In SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management), a storage bin
type is a classification of storage bins based on specific
characteristics, such as bin size, shape, and usage.

It is necessary to first establish the structure before you can
create mass bins utilising bin structure.

GO TO T.CODE /N/SCWM/LS10

click on create button to create bins

You can see the 10 Bins are created based upon the Structure

Check the Storage Bins in Monitor for the Storage


Type – IK10

MANUAL BIN CREATION: T-CODE: /N/SCWM/LS01


We can only create one bin at a time while creating bins
manually.

BIN CREATION THROUGH UPLOADING TOOL /N/SCWM/SBUP

In below screen, click on Export and click on spreadsheet then excel


sheet will be opened

Enter the Warehouse Number, Storage Bin, Storage Type and


Storage Bin Type details in the Excel Sheet and Save in CSV
(Comma Delimited) format.

GO TO T.CODE /N/SCWM/SBUP

Upload the file and Click on Upload Button then Bins will
be displayed in Loaded Storage Bins tab.
Check the Bins and Click on Create Icon then the Bins will
be created

Go to Monitor and Check the Bins
