In today’s competitive job market, recruiters are inundated
with resumes, making the traditional manual screening process both time-consuming and prone to bias. The "Smart Resume Parser and Analyzer Using AI" project emerges as a solution to this challenge by leveraging advanced Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies. This project is designed to automate the extraction of vital information such as personal details, education, work experience, and technical skills from diverse resume formats, thereby streamlining the initial screening process and ensuring consistency in data handling. The system employs robust NLP techniques to accurately parse resumes regardless of their layout or structure. By systematically identifying key elements and categorizing them, the parser transforms unstructured resume data into a structured format that can be e iciently processed. Concurrently, the ML component analyzes this structured data to evaluate candidate suitability based on predefined job requirements. This dual approach not only enhances the accuracy of candidate assessments but also minimizes human error and subjectivity in the early stages of recruitment.
