Title Bar: Located at the top of the window, it displays the name of the document and the application
(Microsoft Word). It also contains the minimize, maximize/restore, and close buttons.
Ribbon tabs: Introduced in Word 2007, the Ribbon is a dynamic toolbar that organizes commands into tabs
(e.g., Home, Insert, Page Layout). Each tab contains groups of related commands.
Quick Access Toolbar: Situated above the Ribbon, it provides one-click access to commonly used
commands such as Save, Undo, and Redo. Users can customize this toolbar with their preferred commands.
Text Area: The large area in the middle of the window where you create and edit your document. It displays
rulers at the top and left side for adjusting margins, tabs, and indents.
Document information/Status Bar: Located at the bottom of the window, it displays information about the
current document, such as page number, word count, and language. It also includes View options and zoom
controls.
