Assistant group leader
Responsibilities
◦ Using laser and microfabrication technology, successfully fabricated Silicon-based tribopair of pin
and disk (2 &100 mm diameter).
◦ Developed a program by LabVIEW to realize the automatic control and acquisition of micro friction
and load.
◦ The measurement resolution of the applied load & friction force was 80 μN and 30 μN.
◦ Successfully used this tribometer for the testing of low viscosity lubricants, ferrofluids, and Self
assembled monolayers.
2017 – 2019
2 Development of a tribo-tester for investigation of ferrofluids lubrication performance
Group leader
Responsibilities
◦ Prepared spherical ferrofluids using the chemical coprecipitation method.
◦ Fabricated bronze tribopair with 36 bores and for the employment controllable magnetic field
magnets were used.
◦ Tester was designed so that it enables direct measurement of the normal load & the friction torque
of ferrofluids lubricated contacts.
◦ Self-repairing, Anti friction & Wear properties of ferrofluid were performed by optical microscopy,
SEM, and EDS.
