STEP 1: CREATE A CANVA ACCOUNT
To use this template you will need a Canva account and an Internet connection. You can
create a free Canva account at https://www.canva.com . You might need a premium Canva
membership to download the template, since this is a premium template. You can subscribe
for a free trial to download the template, as Canva offers a free trial for one month.
STEP 2: ACCESS YOUR CANVA TEMPLATE

Once you have clicked on the template link you will be directed to the template landing page.
Click the “use template” button below the preview image. This will automatically create a
copy of the template for you and save it to “your designs” on your Canva account. You can
now edit your template.
STEP 3: EDIT YOUR TEMPLATE
You can now edit the template with your custom information, images and change colors to
match you theme. Canva is a great tool for DIYers and beginners, it’s very user-friendly! You

Change The Text
To add your custom text, simply double-click on the text you want to edit. This will display
the type line, which you can either double-click on the word again to select the whole work
or move your mouse cursor to the end/start of the work you want to edit, HOLD down the left
mouse button and drag over the word to highlight it. Then start typing!
Change The Text Style, Color and Size
Click on the text you want to change. You will see a text style bar where you can change how it
looks.
Add Text, Elements And Upload your Images
Add Your Own Images
From the “Uploads” tab or photo “Elements” find the image you want to add to your design.
Simply Drag & Drop your image into the placeholder image provided in the template. You will
see your image fill the frame. Alternatively, if you click on the image and it is on the design,
select it then, Drag and Drop into the frame. You can also resize or crop your photo to fit into
the frame properly by dragging the photo edges.
Click on the image to crop, edit the picture or add animations.
To change the background image, first select your image from uploads. Then right-click on the
image to open options. Under the options drop-down menu select replace background
option.

Add Your Own Videos and Music
Under the “Elements” tab you can search for videos and and audio tracks that Canva has.
Just simply select one and Drag & Drop it accordingly. Also you can upload your own videos
and music from your personal library. After uploading them, you will see them in the
“Uploads” tab on the left side. Just simply Drag & Drop from the “Uploads” tab accordingly
to use them.
Edit Music
Click on the blue line located below. After clicking you will see various options for editing
your audio track, for example you can add audio effects, adjust your audio track or even mute
it.
Edit Animations
Parts of this template is animated or can be animated according to your needs, and with
Canva, this means you can edit the animation style, remove it or change it to another one. To
edit or add an animation first click on the page or the element you want to animate then
locate the 3 side stacked circles like below.

Add Transitions
You can add transitions to your template now on Canva. Just right click on the page you want
to add a transition and from the options select “Add Transition” then Transition dashboard
will appear on the left.
STEP 4: SHARE YOUR DESIGN
NOTE: Canva automatically saves your edits as you use the template. You will always have
access to your template while you have Canva. Come back at a later time to finalize details
and share when ready.
Once you are done adding the details and replacing images, you are READY TO SHARE your
design. First click on “Share” then from the “download window” select “Download”.
NOTE: For more help or if you encounter any issues, Canva has an AI assistant that can help
you. To talk to the AI assistant, locate the question mark icon “?” located in the bottom right
corner of Canva and click on it. This will open the chat-box and just simply type in your
queries.
