An area of 265.47 km2 of the western communes of Diên An and Diên Toàn
Historically, the city known as Kauthara under the rule of Kingdom of Champa. Being a coastal
city, Nha Trang is a center for marine science based at the Nha Trang Oceanography Institude.
The Hon Mun marine protected area is one of four first marine protected areas in the world
admitted by the IUCN.
Nha Trang is a year-round tourist attraction because its pleasant tropical climate, with a dry
season from January to August and a rainy season from September to December, making it a
year-round tourist destination.
Nha Trang is one of the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam, with clear water and fine white
sand. Tourists can swim, participate in water sports like scuba diving, kayaking, or visit the neary
islands.
Vinpearl Land: Located on Hon Tre Island, Vinpearl Land is a resort and entertainment complex
with a water park, amusement rides, and luxurious accommodations.
Po Nagar Cham Towers: A historical monument built by the Cham people, this site showcases
unique Cham architecture and attracts many visitors interested in Cham cultures
