SOCIAL SCIENCE - SUBJECT ENRICHMENT

1. Every student has to compulsorily undertake all the projects given below:

Consumer Awareness

Social Issues

Sustainable Development

2. Objective: The overall objective of the project work is to help students gain an insight and
pragmatic understanding of the theme and see all the Social Science disciplines from
interdisciplinary perspective. It should also help in enhancing the Life Skills of the students.
Students are expected to apply the Social Science concepts that they have learnt over the years in
order to prepare the project report.
Different forms of Art may be integrated in the project work.

3. The distribution of marks over different aspects relating to Project Work is as follows:

Consumer Awareness

1. Prepare posters with catchy slogans like: –

Write a report: The purpose of this report is to disseminate crucial information to consumers,
enabling them to make informed decisions about their purchases. It is imperative that
consumers are aware of their rights, options, and best practices to ensure a satisfactory and
safe shopping experience. This report outlines key areas of consumer awareness and provides
recommendations for individuals seeking to protect their interests.
