Assignment 6 EG
Assignment 6 EG
1. A hexagonal prism side of base 25 mm and height 45 mm is resting on ground on its base, with one
of the edges of base parallel to VP. The axis of the prism is parallel to and 35 mm away from VP. Draw
the projections of the prism.
2. A square pyramid, side of base 35 mm and height 50 mm is resting on ground with all edges of the
base equally inclined to VP. Draw the projections of the pyramid.
3. A hexagonal pyramid, side of base 30 mm and height 60mm rests with its base on VP such that one
of the edges of the base is inclined at 25° to HP. Draw the top and front views of the pyramid.
4. Draw the projections of the pentagonal prism of base side 30 mm and altitude 50 mm when it is
resting on the VP on its base with one of the rectangular faces inclined at 30˚ to HP.
5. A square prism of base 35 mm and height 60 mm is resting on its base in VP and axis perpendicular
to VP and 30 mm above the ground. One of the edges of the base is inclined at 30 ˚ to the
6. Draw the projections of a hexagonal pyramid of base side 30 mm and axis 50 mm when it is resting
on the HP on one of its base corners with a base side containing the corner making 30 ˚ with HP.
7. A triangular prism side of base 25 mm and axis 50 mm long is resting with one of its rectangular
faces on the ground with its axis parallel to both the reference planes. Draw the plan and elevation
of the triangular prism.
8. A cylinder of base diameter 50 mm and altitude 70mm resting on a point on its base is tilted until
the axis makes an angle of 60° with HP, Draw the projections of the Cylinder.
9. A cone of base diameter 50 mm and axis length 60 mm is resting on HP on one of its generators
with its axis parallel to VP. Draw its projections.
10. A hexagonal pyramid of base side 30 mm and axis length 50 mm has one of the triangular faces
in the VP and the axis parallel to and 35 mm above the HP. Draw its projections.
11. A pentagonal pyramid side of base 20 mm and the altitude 60 mm rests on one of its sides of the
base in HP, the base being tilted up until the highest point in it is 20 mm above the HP. Draw the
projections of the pyramid when the edge on which it rest is perpendicular to VP.
12. A pentagonal prism edge of base side 25 mm axis, length 50 mm is resting on one its corners of
base on VP with its axis inclined at angle of 45° with the VP and parallel to HP. Draw the projections.
13. Draw the projection of the rectangular pyramid of 25 mm x 40 mm sides of the base and 40 mm
height which rests on one edge of the base on VP such that a larger triangular face containing that
edge is perpendicular to VP.
