CALL TO ORDER
Good afternoon everyone, the event is about to start. Parents and guests who
have to use their phones are requested to put them in silent mode to maintain the
solemnity of this occasion. They are also reminded to show courtesy by refraining
from leaving their seats in order to take pictures or by talking to graduates. Thank
you for your cooperation.

The event is about to start in 5 minutes.

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. Recognition day is a day of triumph and
celebration signifying both the completion and the beginning of a student’s
educational journey.

I. PROCESSIONAL

Our dear parents, guests, and friends, it is my distinct privilege to welcome you to
the beautiful administrative staff. We acknowledge the presence of the school
Principal Reverend Joey V. Bernales, and his wife, Mrs. Melanie Bernales.

Ladies and gentlemen let us all welcome the handsome and gorgeous members of the
completers and Graduating class of school year 2022 to 2023 with their respective
parents and guardians.

II. PHILIPPINE NATIONAL ANTHEM/INVOCATION

Everyone is requested to remain standing for the doxology with the song Who You Say I Am led
by the Grade 4 and 5 Students, followed by the National Anthem to be conducted by the AVP.

III. Christian Pledge and Pledge to the Bible


To lead the Christian Pledge, may I call Stella Mari Olivia Delos Reyes of Pre-Kinder -
Genesis, Salutatorian, followed by Pledge to the Bible by a video of Bianca Nuelle N.
Bautista of Kinder - Psalms, Salutatorian.

Graduation day is always a day of rejoicing, for it marks the conclusion of an


educational journey and the commandments of another more uncertain and
challenging part of man's quest for a better life and future.

Indeed, today it signifies the culmination of many years of complex works in the
relentless pursuit of knowledge: the knowledge that will enable a person to
embrace opportunities and take on challenges with a clear vision and purpose.

To our engaging and brilliant school principal, Rev. Joey V. Bernales, to our firm
and zealous faculty members, administrators and staff, parents, students,
friends, ladies and gentlemen, Good afternoon, and WELCOME TO THE 26th
GRADUATION AND RECOGNITION RITES OF RIVER OF LIFE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL.

Today is the day that most parents and students around here have waited so
long. So, without further ado, please help us welcome Mrs. Sherly Capalungan
to give us her words of welcome.

V. Intermission Number – Grade 4 & 5

To break the monotony of the program, ladies and gentlemen, let us all welcome
the Grade 4 and 5 students as they render their exciting, unique ethnic dance
number.

Thank you, Grade 4 and 5 students, for a beautiful presentation.

VI. Introduction of the School Principal

At this juncture, we request the presence of Rev. Joey V. Bernales to give us all a
warm message that would be worth remembering. Let us give him our loudest
applause.

VII. Message and Inspirational Message – Ptr. Joey

Thank you so much, Pastor Joey Bernales, for that compelling message.

VIII. Presentation of the Graduates, Acceptance, and Confirmation – Teacher


Cha/ Ptr. Joey

To present the candidates for this year’s Commencement Exercises, we meekly


request the presence of Ms. Charmaine Aviles, Kindergarten adviser. This will be
immediately followed by the acceptance and proclamation of the graduates by the
School Principal, Ptr. Joey Bernales.

IX. Distribution of Certificates and Awarding of Behavioral Awards

Excellence is not an act but a habit. It takes practice and perseverance to be on


top.

It is now time for our dear students to reap the fruits of their labor for a well-done
job. We will now present the Achievers of Batch 2023.
To distribute the certificates, may I request Pastor Joey Bernales, and his wife, Mrs.
Melanie Bernales, to come in front. We would also like to ask the respective
advisors of Pre- Kinder - Genesis, Kinder- Psalms, and Grade 6 – Romans to bestow
the awards.

Parents, please accompany your child as they receive their certificates and
awards.

 Congratulations to all the academic achievers, recipients of special


awards and their parents.

X. INTERMISSION NUMBER

At this point, let us be entertained by the group presentation of Grade 3 pupils with
the song Alive.

Let us all give them a hand of applause.

 Thank you, Grade 3 pupils, for an entertaining number.

XI. Graduation Song – The Graduates

At this point, let us look back on memory lane as we cherish the wonderful year of our
students as they sing their graduation songs. It’s the Climb.

XII. TRIBUTE TO THE PARENTS

What a joy and pride it is to be with your child now. It is truly an incredible bliss to
be in this momentous event.

Now, to express the gratitude of our dear students to their parents for the endless
love and support they are showering upon them, to give them a well-deserved
honor, let’s all witness our kindergarten students as they offer a tribute in return.

Let’s all give them a hand.

Graduates, you can now give your presents to your proud parents.

Awardees you may now go back to your seats.

Thank you very much for that presentation. Truly, our dear parents are our first
teachers, motivators and guide and they deserve such kind of tribute.

Once again, let’s all give the warmest round of applause to our dear parents.

XIII. FIRST HONORS ADDRESS

To give their message of gratitude to all our dear parents who have been
very supportive and to all the teachers who exerted a lot of effort in our students'
holistic growth and to give inspiration to their fellow graduates, we will now
proceed to First Honor Address.

To give the first response may I call Zia Ysabelle A. Dela Cruz – First Honor –
Pre Kinder

At this moment, for the Second address, Let us hear Albert Angelo F. Salinog
– First Honor – Kinder

For our last but not most minor address and to give his address of
excellence, may I request the presence of Zac Asaph N. Rapayrapay – First Honor
– Grade 6.

 Thank you, Zia, Angelo, and Zac for the awesome and astounding
message.

XIV. SPECIAL NUMBER OF THE GRADUATES – DREAMER

At this part of our program, the graduates of 2022-2023 will sing their graduation
song entitled - Dreamer. A hand of applause please.

XVI. AWARDING OF BEHAVIORAL/SPECIAL ACADEMIC AWARDS – GRADE 1-2

Today is not just a graduation day for some because they will also reap what
they sow for this school year. Now, we want to welcome you all to the second part
of our program, the Recognition and Award for non-graduating students.

To present the roll of awardees, again, please, welcome the Principal of RLCS
Pastor. Joey Bernales, and wife Mrs. Melanie Bernales.

We would also like to request the respective advisers of Grade 1 and 2 - to


bestow the awards.

Parents please accompany your child as they receive their awards.

XVII. SPECIAL NUMBER GRADE 1 PUPILS

To break the monotony of the program, the Grade 1 pupils will give us an
outstanding performance with the song Every Move I Make.

XVIII. SPECIAL NUMBER GRADE 2 PUPILS

We want to invite the Grade 2 pupils to take over the stage to give us another
unique number.

XIX. AWARDING OF BEHAVIORAL/SPECIAL ACADEMIC AWARDS – GRADE 3-5

This time, may we request the presence of Pastor Joey Bernales and His wife, Mrs.
Melanie Bernales, again for the awarding of behavioral and special academic
awards for grade 3 to 5 students. The advisers of each section will assist with the
awarding.

Now, I invite Ms. Uzziel Bernales to give us the school announcement, and to pray

Again, we thank everyone for their support and cooperation in making this
program possible.

Parents, thank you for your endless support and understanding of our alma mater
and your child.

Faculty members, thank you for your relentless work teaching your students
throughout the school year. The achievement of your students shows how great a
teacher you are. Their success is also your success.

Once again, Congratulations, and God bless everyone.
