Weekends 1–5: AWS Basics (40 hours)

Focus on understanding AWS foundational concepts and services.

Weekend 1 (8 hours)

• Day 1 (4 hours):
o Introduction to Cloud Computing.
o Overview of AWS Global Infrastructure: Regions, Availability Zones, Edge
Locations.
o Introduction to IAM: Users, Groups, Policies.
• Day 2 (4 hours):
o Compute Basics: EC2 (Instance types, AMIs, Pricing models).
o Hands-On:
 Launch and connect to an EC2 instance.

Weekend 2 (8 hours)

• Day 1 (4 hours):
o Storage Basics: S3 (Buckets, Storage Classes, Versioning, Lifecycle Rules).
o Hands-On:
 Create and manage an S3 bucket with versioning.
• Day 2 (4 hours):
o Introduction to Networking: VPC, Subnets, Security Groups.
o Hands-On:
 Create a VPC and configure subnets and security groups.

Weekend 3 (8 hours)

o Database Basics: RDS (Overview, Pricing, Backups).
o Hands-On:
 Set up a basic RDS instance.
