INSTALLATION PROCEDURE FOR MATLAB

1. Please follow the following simple steps to install MATLAB on machine

Download this software from ftp://172.31.4.36


Username: spss
Password: newemail

A. Download Matlab2016a for 64bit Windows OS under Folder MATLAB.


OR
Download Matlab2015b for 32bit Windows OS under Folder MATLAB.
OR
Take Setup from CITM (Size approx.. 7 GB)

B. Raise a request for Allocation of MATLAB license as per specified format


through your HOD.

C. You will receive an Installation key and license file (your machine MAC
based) from CITM.

Before proceeding to installation, you must have completed A, B and C.


The contents of MATLAB setup folder are listed below:
2. RUN the setup file with user having administrator privileges.
You will see the following applet:

3. Select the Use a file installation key option and click next.
You will see license Agreement Applet:
4. Accept the license agreement and Click Next
You will see file installation applet on your screen.

5. Select the option “I have the File Installation Key for my license”
Paste the installation key provided to you by CITM.
Click Next and you have Installation Folder Selection screen. It requires
7-8 GB space on Hard disk drive for all toolboxes.
6. Click Next and you will see product selection screen. MATLAB is
mandatory and select the optional tools as per your requirement. Then
Click Next.

7. Select both options to add shortcuts on desktop as well as Programs


folder on Start Menu. Click Next
8. You will see a confirmation of selected products. Click Install

9. You will see an installation progress bar on your screen.


10. The installation complete screen appears on screen.
Select “Activate MATLAB” option for its activation. Click Next.

11. You will see MathWorks Software activation screen


Select “Activate manually without internet” option. Click Next
12. You will see Offline Activation screen
Select “Enter the full path to your license file, including the file name”
Click the Browse Button

13. Select the License file provided by CITM for your computer MAC
address.
The same file will not work for other computers/Laptop.
14. You will see activation Complete Screen.

Congratulations… you have completed the installation of MATLAB.
