1. Describe the picture


- Look at the picture I can see two people, a man and a boy. The man is about 40
years old and the boy is about 4 or 5 years old. I think they are father and son.
- They are playing football on a grass field. Maybe the father is teaching the son
how to play football. It seems that they are enjoying their time. They are
wearing casual clothes
- The weather in this picture is nice. It is sunny and warm. It is ideal for outdoor
activities
- I like this picture. It shows love between father and son. It reminds me of my
childhood.
2. Tell me the last time I played sports? (when, who, where, how, why, feeling..)
- I am going to tell you about the last time I played sports.
- It was last week, on Sunday
- I played football with my friends in a park near my house.
- It was really interesting
- I loved it
3. Why should people play sports?
- it is fun
- it is good for health
- they can make friends

There are some reasons why people should play sports. The first reason/ benefit we can
think of is that it is fun. It helps them relax after work and reduce stress. Another reason

we can consider is that it is good for health. it allows them to improve their health, keep
fit and prevent health problems. One more reason is that they can make friends with
others.

Part 2: In this part I’m going to ask you to describe a picture. Then I will ask you two
questions about it. You will have 45 seconds for each response. Begin speaking when you
hear this sound

Topic: Hội bạn ăn trong nhà hàng

1. Please describe the picture


- Look at the picture, I can see many people in a restaurant. They look very
young, about 20 years old. I think they are friends or co-workers
- They are sitting around the table and having dinner together
- On the table, there are many kinds of food and drink. Some candles are burning
- I guess they are having a birthday party. They look very happy. It seems that
they are enjoying their time
- I like this picture because it shows happiness of young people

2. Tell me the last time you went to a restaurant with your friends? (time, where,
how, food, service, staff, feelings)
- I am going to share with you something about the last time I went to a
restaurant with my friends
- It was last week

- The name of the restaurant was “Bien Dong”, located in the city centree. It was
big and famous. The food was so delicious, healthy and cheap. I really liked the
soup, it was special. The staff were friendly and helpful.
- I like this restaurant and I will recommend to my friends.

3. Why do people enjoy eating out with their friends?


Eating out with friends has some benefits. The very first benefit we can look into is
that there are many kinds of food. Also, the food is delicious. Another benefit we
can take into account is that they don’t know how to cook. One more benefit we
can think if is that they want to save time for going to the market, cooking and
doing the washing up

Part 2: In this part I’m going to ask you to describe a picture. Then I will ask you two
questions about it. You will have 45 seconds for each response. Begin speaking when you
hear this sound

1. Describe this picture

- Look at the picture, I can see a group of people; two men and three women.
They look quite young, about 25 years old. I think that they are co-workers
- He is standing next to/near a board and making a presentation
- The other people are looking at him and listening to him
- They are wearing formal clothes and I guess that they are at work/in an office/
in a meeting
- They look focused on the presentation
- In the background of the picture, I can see a window

2. Tell me about the last time you spoke in public.


- The last time I spoke in public was about 5 years ago when I was working for a company in
Hanoi.
- I had a presentation in front of many people
- The topic of the presentation was “How to attract customers?”
- At first I felt so nervous because it was the first time I spoke in public
- But after a while, I felt much better, more confident

3. Why do some people feel worried about public speaking?


- There are some reasons why some people feel worried about public speaking

- The first reason we can think of is that they are not well-prepared and they are afraid that
they cannot answer the questions from the audience
- Another reason we can look into is that they are shy and not confident when they speak in
front many people
- One more reason we can consider is that are not good at communication skills
