INTRODUCTION

The detail of this assignment is a detailed landing page. This contain a logo header and
footer which explain about the Cyber Girls. An initiative that aimed to bring girls in the
field of cybersecurity as the field was monopolize men. This is simple landing page that
exactly explain wat the initiative stand for.

CASE STUDY:

In create the cyber girls’ website there thing we consider as team put into consideration

1. Requirements: As we do research and put thing together to create a well-defined

website for the cyber girls foundation. These was by following the foundation’s
official page to get more information about the foundation.
2. Planning: Secondly we sat and plan how the web page should be which image,
color and how the text should be. We also decided on what programming
language, frame work and code editor we should. For this we use the Html, Css
and JavaScript frame work and visual studio as the code editor.
3. Modeling: Scratch the UML and the prototype. We use the draw io to build the
UML and figma for the prototype
4. Development: At this stage we started building the web page for starch starting
with home page
5. Testing: At this stage we tested the project by consulting the client and make
some changes that were necessary to avoid future risk.
6. Deployment: After that and confirm that everything is ok we deploy or publish the
site to be use by the end-users.
7. Maintenance: as a team to make the site stay up to date the help of the feedback
we get form the users.
Some of the Things to Consider When Building Website or Application

 Client Satisfaction; before creating a website for a client you should try as much
as possible to gather all the requirement needed for the website to meet the client
satisfaction.
 Efficiency and Reliability: you Website should reliable mean people should get all
the information about that particular company or business by logging into to site
to avoid encountering issues in the future.
 Accuracy: the site should be accurate at all time it should not be slow to load or
fail to show some important information to people when they need it.
 Adaptability: The site should adaptable to any condition.
 User Friendly: you site should be easy to navigate through it at anytime and avoid
making them too complex to use.

TOOL USE:

HTML: Hyper text mark up language is use to build the structure of the website. It on
these structure the website function and execute whatever demand the client may want.
We use it to build table, form, header, footer and insert text, images, videos and audios

Eg: when building house the unfinished building can be consider as the Html in web
design as the building is just a structure with no paint or furniture or electricity.

CSS: Cascading Style Sheet is use to modify or decorate the web page. It is use to add
beautiful colors to text and pages. It can also be use to modify images, videos, and audios
that can make the web page look beautiful.

Eg. From the example earlier the css is like add paint to the building structure fixing
windows and furniture.
JavaScript: Normally called JS code can be use to add functionality to the code to make
serve it purpose it was build for. Like you can be able to easily login to the website,
screech for some information, and add your own information to the site database. With
the JS code can be able to make the website secure and protect important data that can
be input into the site.

Eg. From the above house structure the JS code is like you all security detail to you house
like cameras and Alarms preventing authorize access.

How to play around the site

 First enter the dome name of the site on your bowser and you will see the home
page.
 Next go to about to know about the site or the foundation
 After you navigate to the program to see the programs they foundation is offering
 Click on the Apply now button to navigate to the form if you want to apply for any
course
 Navigate to the profile to see and know the most prominent people in the
foundation
 Navigate to the success to see and hear the cyber girls sharing their stories and
their experience with the foundation.
 Lastly navigate to the rescores hub to get more important information about what
the foundation offers.

CONCLUSION

In a nut shell this assignment was really plus to our web design skills as we get to learn
how to use the different html and css tags and how to use them. We also get to find out
through our research the important the cyber girl foundation to girls around the world.
And we get the chance to show our different skills as a group members working as a
team.
